Sunday mornings were generally quite ones in the castle. The students were usually still asleep, after all sleep was precious especially for the older students. It was unusual for Roxanne to be up this early. But she seemed to be suffering from insomnia in the last few days. Sleep wasn’t coming to her and when it did it was in short hours. Today was no different. For some reason her eyes opened at 3 in the morning and she hadn’t been able to fall asleep since. She had spent the last few hours sitting in an arm chair in front of the fire reading one of her many romance novels. She had let herself become completely absorbed in her novel for hours. The hours she had spent reading only ended when the pages in her book did. With a disappointed sigh Roxanne put down her book and looked at her watch: 6 am. She had been hoping that she would fall asleep while reading, but no such thing had happened.
Frowning slightly Roxanne got up and stretched her limbs. She then made her way up the staircase and into her dorm, she shuffled her belongings as quietly as possible and pulled out some clothes. With her clothing tucked under her arms Roxanne headed off to the bathroom for a quick shower.
Roxanne smiled slightly to herself as she felt the warm water hitting her body. She loved how the pressure warm water relaxed her muscles. With a defeated sigh Roxanne turned off the water and stepped out of the shower. She dried herself off and quickly got dressed. She pulled her hair into French braid. Her bangs quickly fell out of the braid and fell back into their original position of framing her face. With one final look in the mirror, Roxanne headed downstairs.
Slightly disappointed that there was no one in the common room, Roxanne decided it was time for breakfast. She descended the main stairs and pushed open the heavy doors of the great hall. He stepped in, welcomed by the fresh scent of coffee, bread and many more delectable breakfast foods. A smile appeared on her face, she loved the fresh scent of coffee and she simply couldn’t wait to get her hands on a mug of it. She was a bit of an addict when it came to coffee. She simply couldn’t start her day without it. She was a total witch when she didn’t have some. She was mean, crazy mean without it. Coffee was her lifeline. She simply could not live without it.
Roxanne headed toward the Gryffindor table. It was almost empty. The whole great hall was almost empty to be honest. There was the odd student sprinkled around the room. Even the staff table was not as occupied as usual. It seemed that even the teachers were enjoying a lie in. Roxanne was considering how much everyone seem to enjoy a lie in when another thought struck her The poor house elves are the only ones that don’t get to enjoy a nice lie in the castle she thought to herself. Then another thought struck her I am starting to sound like auntie Hermione. This thought panicked her. It wasn’t that she didn’t love her aunt she did. But her aunt was a bit up tight for her taste.
Pushing the unpleasant thoughts from her head Roxanne grabbed a mug and poured herself some coffee. She smiled as she took her first sip. She savored the taste of the rich coffee as it went down her throat. She then proceeded to pull a piece of toast towards her and buttered it slowly. She took a bite and smiled. She wished silently that she had brought a book with her. She hated eating alone.

Even though Abe can be a lazy bum at times and will sleep in until someone pushes him out of bed, he was up pretty early for a Sunday morning. Actually Abe had pretty random sleeping habits, sometimes he would wake up super early in the morning or at times he’d wake up in the middle of the afternoon. So Abe’s roommates weren’t ever shocked to find his bed emptied before anyone else or to walk in on him after lunch still out cold on his bed. Usually it depended on what he did the night before, sometimes he’d be out with some people having a party in the Forbidden Forest or sometimes he’d just go to sleep at midnight, early for Abe. Anyway Abe was up now and he didn’t really know what to do.
Then his stomach roared so loud he was shocked that no one woke up. After pulling on a pair of skinny jeans and a flannel shirt that he left unbutton exposing his well toned abdomen. Forgetting his shoes, as usual, Abe lazily walked out of his dorm and into the common room where nobody in their right mind was up yet. There was somebody asleep on a chair by the fire but otherwise the place was deserted. Running his hand through his messy black hair that already had a bad case of bed head Abe walked through the common room and out into the dungeon corridors.
By the lack of people in the corridors Abe noticed that he must’ve been up pretty early, he didn’t know because he never bothered to look at a clock, which was probably why he was late for a lot of things. It was just Abe’s luck to be up early when he didn’t need to be. It was the weekend for crying out loud why did he have to wake up now? Most people would go back to bed but once Abe woke up he couldn’t go back to sleep until the nighttime. So Abe continued walking to the Great Hall in serious need of some food.
Due to his towering 6 foot 6 inch height Abe was able to get to the Great Hall quickly. Pushing open the great big doors the smells of breakfast foods wafted in his direction. Without even looking around the Great Hall Abe charged at the empty Slytherin table and began loading piles of food onto his plate. Everything looked delicious so Abe kept piling and eating, piling and eating it was a never ending cycle until Abe’s bottomless pit of a stomach wasn’t screaming for food anymore. Straightening up from his little pig out station he looked around the Great Hall and saw only one person sitting alone at the Gryffindor table. It was Roxanne Weasley, the person that Abe has had a feud with since the very first train ride to Hogwarts. Honestly Abe didn’t quite understand the hatred that she had towards him, it was an accident after all, but Rox seemed determined to hold the grudge in Abe’s point of view.
Picking up his plate that was now stacked high with pancakes; Abe stood up from his designated Slytherin table and walked over towards the Gryffindor one. Abe didn’t know what compelled him to even think of going over to sit near Roxanne but he did just because he felt like it. Once he was across from Roxanne Abe sat down quietly on the bench across from her and placed his plate down. While taking some of the Gryffindor’s butter Abe looked up at Rox with his stone cold black eyes. ”Hey there Foxy Roxy,” Abe said in his usual drawn out lazy tone. ”You’re up early.”

- - - - - i remember what you wore on the first day , you came into my life and i thought ,HEY YOU KNOW THIS COULD BE SOMETHING CAUSE EVERYTHING YOU DO
Foxy Roxy? Foxy? Flipping? Roxy? Roxanne rolled her eyes Dear Merlin, you’ve got to be kidding me Roxanne thought to herself its way too early to deal with Abe Roxanne closed her eyes and pressed her fingers to her temples. She couldn’t handle him, not this early in the morning. Hell she couldn’t deal with Abe late in the afternoon either. She simply just could not deal with Abe. He was a pain. Always had been, always would be. The kid had been a pain in her side since their first year. In all honesty Roxanne couldn’t remember what he had done, but it had been something, something aggravating, and it had just kept on building. He was an aggravating boy and would one day turn into an aggravating man. Roxanne could only hope that when that day came she would not know him, and he would not know her.
Roxanne let out an exasperated sigh and then told herself that if she ignored him he would go away. At least that was what she hopped. “As are you Abe” Roxanne said in a flat tone. She picked up her mug of coffee and took a sip of the rich hot liquid. Roxanne smiled to herself as the liquid went down her throat. She loved coffee. She was a caffeine addict. She simply could not function without her morning coffee, asking her to do so was asking too much of Roxanne. She needed the caffeine to jump start her heart to wake her up and get her going. Without coffee she was much like a zombie, bitchier than normal, angry, and lazy. A terrible combination for a Hogwart’s student considering they needed to be alert to do well in class and just to put up with the mass amounts of stupidity that roamed the halls in general.
It was basically a curse year by year the first years got dumber and they weren’t the only ones. Most of the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh years also got dumber. It was as though education had the reverse effect on some students, instead of gaining intellectual stimulation their brains seemed to simply melt away into a nothing. And there was Roxanne, she wasn’t the smartest student in the school, but she was smart, she knew that, but the amount of stupidity in the school was ridiculous. Roxanne was starting to think that an I.Q. test needed to be preformed every year on students to ensure that on the average or above average remained in the school. That was her idea on how to improve the school. She’d even suggested it once, but the teachers were against it. She personally didn’t see what the big deal was but they said something about discrimination and elitism. Roxanne didn’t remember exactly, but there was no point in recalling it, it was a done matter.
Roxanne took another sip of her coffee. She was still clinging on to the hope that if, she were to continue ignoring Abe that he would go away. Yet something inside of her told her she was being too hopeful. She had known Abe for six years and knew that he wasn’t going to go away. Why wouldn’t he go away? Because he left, her life would be just a tad bit easier. And heaven forbid that were to ever happen. It wouldn’t not as long as Abe was around. “What are you doing up at this time?” Roxanne asked Abe suddenly. Her tone was even for once, in all probability it was probably the kindest tone she had ever used with Abe.
