Let me tell you a story. . .
The year is 1685 and five families have worked hard to escape religious persecution in England by fleeing to the New World. Fear gripped then because they knew they could not run forever. Things were safe, for a while, but with the emergence of the Salem Trials 1962 things changed. Cotton Marther was the person to fear, the one with all the power. As pressure rose amongst the five families, a covenant of silence was formed. It was shattered, however, with the death of John Putnam the four remaining families knew they would never be safe. They may not lust after power like Putnman did but they still possessed a magic that whose source was unknown.
With the death of Putnam the trials ended, and the four remaining families, Danvers, Parry, Simms and Garwin, reformed their covenant. The Covenant of Silence which has remained in place for 300 years. As the presence of their families faded into the background, others became more prominent.
Little did the Sons both old and new know that they were not the only ones with this power. Five women from five different back grounds made a deal all their own, this deal while to protect their own may also bring about untold horror. Keeping the balance does not sound all that bad but when your caught in the cross fire the stakes have a way of changing.
Now with the loss of one of their sisters fresh in their minds the power passed to her sister the remaining four, O'Dwyer, McCafrey,Mann and Montgomery along with Gordon find themselves back at the beginning. A choice that could change all their lives. Unknown to these families, Putnam would come back with a vengeance for his legacy was not over.
His decedent, born the bastard son of Agnes Goodwin-Pope would come back seeking to destroy the covenant and claim the power that he lusted after. The power that was in their very veins. What will the end result be?
