i need another story something to get off my chest - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - James did not know what to do with himself today and to say that he was bored was an understatement. Today was a free day and he had no classes, so he could do whatever he wanted to do. Of course the first thing that he did not want to do was homework – that sucked. James had no idea why he was even at University. When he was a Slytherin he did not do much work, but of course he did enough to get him through school and pass his exams. He was just not the type of guy that liked to learn, to him it was boring and sitting in a class was just annoying. It was especially annoying if he was in a class that held dull and uninteresting people. The ex-Slytherin may not have been one to dislike people just because they were not as fun as he wanted them to be. James liked to hang around with individuals who would do whatever they wanted and whenever they wanted to do that. Basically James liked to be around the rebels, just because he liked to think of himself as being a rebel. He may have been like that when he was at Hogwarts but a year had changed him a little. James was less of an ass and someone that could be approached. There were times where the student would hold a frown on his face but this was just to make sure that he did not lose his personality that he had during his years at Hogwarts. If James could do anything he would want to be like that boy again. He wanted to be that guy who could scare off people. It was clear that he was not the type of person to get attached to others.
Brushing his hands through his hair, James walked through the narrow streets and kept his eyes on the few people that would pass him. There was one problem about James – he was not someone that liked to trust others. There may have been a few people that James could talk to and tell thing to but there was only so much that he could talk to them about. These civilians that James walked past and stared down were not the people that James would talk to. Of course there was a reasonable explanation for that – he did not know them. They were complete strangers to him and he certainly was not stupid enough to talk to random people on the street and pour his heart out to them. That was why James did not understand how there were those few people who could go to marriage counsellors and psychiatrists to talk about their problems. They did know them personally so why would they want to tell them their deep and dark secrets? It was just going to be something that he would never understand.
The ex-Slytherin took his eyes off the path that he was following and accidently walked into someone. It was probably his fault but James was not going to admit to that. His cold eyes looked down at the stranger as he gawped up at him. He frowned and parted his mouth to speak to them. ”Yes? You need something?” his voice spat out quietly as he tried to think of why this person had not moved on yet. Did they really want to receive a verbal warning from James? Whether they did or not he was going to deliver one if he did not move right that second. To James the weedy little boy came across as a First Year. Should he have not been at school right now? The ex-Slytherin just scoffed and pushed past the boy without even glancing back at him to make sure he had not fallen over. To be honest he did not want to waste his time telling off a little kid, he could have been doing more interesting things. These little acts of ‘jerkness’ that James did sometimes were for himself. It was to make sure that he still had it in him to be…scary. After all James did not want to lose the effect that he had on others.

Lily had seen Scorpius today. He had looked even better then ever. Of course he didn't see her but it was a crowded feast hall. That and he was on the other side of the room, but she would recognise his smile and his beautiful face anywhere. Even amongst the various heads of students between them. Life was definately getting better now. Things were progressing between her and Scorpius. They were now secret friends. Okay, so she knew that it was a secret because maybe he was ashamed to be seen with her but Lily was willing to ignore that. After all, they were friends! Friends was the basis of any romantic relationship, and even though it was in secret it did mean that he liked her so much he was willing to be friends with her anyway. Now, all she had to do was find some way to attract him... like the other girls did. Unfortunately her only friend so far, Isobel, was not supportive of her feelings for Scorpius or her beliefs so Lily could not go to Isobel to ask how to do that. This unfortunately meant that Lily had no idea what to do now. Against her own better judgement she headed into the shopping district by bus. She had no idea what she was going to do there or buy but she just hoped that god or any other higher power would help her figure out what she needed to do.
Lily wanted to be as special to Scorpius and as desired by him as those girls he always touched at school. She wanted to be the one that had him whispering in her ear with his hands caressing her in public. Hell, she'd take that in private even. However, she did want to be his girl, and Lily knew she would have to change for that. Lily knew in the end Scorpius would have to love her for who she was but she also knew before he could do that she would need to catch his eye. Lily would do anything for Scorpius even if it meant risking her life or changing who she was and coming out of her comfort zone. God knows she had never worn high heels before or anything so... flesh revealing. She always covered up and wore innocent summer dresses with matching cardigans and pumps. Nothing extravagent, but always classy, and it wouldn't be out of place in the era Agatha Christie's Poirot was set in.
Lily was wandering down the street when she noticed a boy get bumped into. She glanced up only to notice the person who had bumped into the boy was James Evans. He was definately dreamy although her heart only belonged to Scorpius. Wait, he was friends with Isobel and Scorpius... She bit her bottom lip at the thought of asking him to help. She couldn't. She'd never have the confidence to talk to an attractive guy - especially when making the first move. She shook her head, hating her own shyness but unable to do anything about it. It was just who she was. Still, she knew she'd have to find confidence from somewhere if she was going to change into the type of girl Scorpius went for. Sighing, she ran a hand through her flame red hair as she stood on the pavement feeling entirely lost. She looked from store window to store window having absolutely no clue in what she was supposed to be looking for. It would have been so helpful to have someone to help her but unfortunately no one she could rely on supported her in her beliefs about her and Scorpius. Why couldn't they see what she did? She would never understand it.
"I don't know how I'm going to get him to want me... I have no clue how to be like those women he likes and touches..."
Lily mumbled, sadness on her voice. Of course she didn't know if anyone was overhearing what she said either.

i need another story something to get off my chest - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - It had been a good few seconds ago since James had his encounter with the young boy and he was still feeling rather annoyed that the kid had just walked into him. Maybe he should have taught him a lesson to look where he was going. If James was going to teach the poor boy a lesson it would be done with some shouting and some fists – only if it was an extreme case, and this was certainly not one of those moments. James just wanted an excuse to hit someone right now. It had been a while since the ex-Slytherin had actually been involved in a fight. To James fights were something that you could use to release all of your anger and feelings. It just sucked when you needed to find an excuse to start a fight. When he was at Hogwarts it was not that hard to look for a fight. All he had to do was head over to a Gryffindor and whack him on the head. This would lead to them getting annoyed and giving a punch back to James. However, James was a lot faster than most people so this meant that he had the upper hand in these fights. James felt good about that he did not care that it was practically cheating, he was just glad that he cold beat someone up just because he was better than them. He was wrong there, nobody was better than anyone. Everyone was the same and they were equal, but James did not see that point of view. Actually he did not care about that view. To him it was stupid.
Letting out a frustrated sigh the tall brunette walked a little until he heard someone. At first James was not sure who it was. He was not someone that could recognise a voice without seeing the person who held the voice. This was probably because James was not one to get close to people or maybe because he did not care much about people? Whatever it was, James just did not know who this girl was until he looked around and saw the red headed girl standing there. ’Lily Potter?’ he thought as he stared at the girl for a second. He was sure it was her; it had been a while since James had actually spoken to her. The only reason he had talked to the young Gryffindor was because of Isobel, the two of them were friends and that was how James got to know her. There was nothing about Lily that James hated, she was a nice enough person and James did not mind people like that. Of course she may have been a Gryffindor but James did not care much about that; especially now that he had left Hogwarts and was at the university.
Being at the university did make things different, you made friends with people that you did not know before and even though there were different houses at the University it was fairly different. Most people were more grown up now and they did not need to hate on others just because they were in different houses. James was like that, but to be honest he had been like that ever since he was at Hogwarts. He may have picked on the kids from other houses but he did not despise them. However, the grown up part? That was not James at all. It was going to be a very long time until the ex-Slytherin would really grow up. James was not the kind of person that ran around like a little kid. He was the type of person that would start fights for no reason and that was something that he was not going to grow out of for a while. ”Lily Potter? What brings you here?” James asked while walking over to her and giving the girl a friendly smile. ”Shouldn’t you be at school or something, kiddo?”
he teased Lily as he let out a laugh. He was joking with the whole kiddo thing, she was only three years younger than he was so she was hardly a little kid. Upon hearing a voice Lily spun around so her back was to the shop window. She smiled nervously as she saw James stood there. He was undenieably attractive, and Lily could see what Isobel liked in him - even if Isobel refused to admit she did. Lily knew a crush when she saw one. After all, Lily was crushing on Scorpius Malfoy. Then again, it was more then that. She had found out the other night when they had gone to find a student together that she had actually fallen in love with him. The words had just come out, although thankfully she had only said she was in love and not who it was she was in love with. It was a huge thing to realise, and now, Lily desperately needed to get Scorpius' attention. She had to be his perfect woman, and unfortunately that would mean wearing things she really didn't want to wear. Still, if it gained his attention and his love, then it would be worth it. She'd have plastic surgery if it meant gaining his love. Lily would do anything for Scorpius hence why she had gone off that night to get rid of the werewolf on her own. She had so desperately wanted to impress him.
"I need help. I need new clothes. I need... I need to get Scorpius to notice me so he'll fall in love with me."
Lily blurted out before she could stop herself. God, she hoped James didn't tell Scorpius that. She turned around again to look back into the store. She could see so many supermodel type women walking in there and buying such skimpy clothing. How could she ever pull off that kind of look? She wasn't sure she had the right body for it. It wasn't as if she was seven foot tall and as thin as a stick. She was just a normal girl. She wished there could have been someone she could have brought along to help her. She didn't know anything about what clothes she would need to wear. She couldn't ask her family because then they would ask who she was trying to impress and they wouldn't understand. She couldn't ask Isobel because clearly she didn't understand either. After her family and Isobel, Lily had no one left to turn to. She bit her bottom lip, blushing and a look of desperate concern and worry in her face as she glanced back at James. She had no idea what he would think of her now.
"Please don't tell Scorpius I'm in love with him. He's n-not ready to hear it yet..."
Would James know about the werewolf attack? Had Scorpius told him everything that had happened? Had Scorpius already figured out she was madly in love with him? Lily had no idea the answers to these questions but she did hope the answers were no. Maybe James and Scorpius hadn't met up yet. That was always a possibility. Sighing she glanced down at her feet.
"He's always touching the kind of girls that look like supermodels, and don't wear anything. I'm not a supermodel... I don't look like one in any stretch of the imagination... I d-don't even know if I can pull those kind of outfits off but... h-he likes that kind of thing so I have to try... I have to g-get him to notice me... If I c-could just do that maybe he'll want me, and then start to fall for me..."
Lily really did need help to woe Scorpius. That much was clear.
