briar is kind of petite, you could call it. she stands at five feet, with a weight that fits her size. overall, she's not to curvy, and some even go as far as to say her limbs are a little on the lanky side, despite her height. briar isn't much to look at, but she's not hard on the eyes. she has smooth brown hair that falls to about her shoulders. some days she curls it, but it is naturally straight. her face is oval shaped, and has a set of large brown eyes as well as a small nose and full lips. her shoulders and hips are narrow, and she is skinny enough. she has tan skin that doesn't easily burn, and more often than not she goes from tan to ... nothing with no chance of reddness. overall, briar is not anything special. she is an average girl, simple. her clothing style is not to normal though, as she prefers comfort and unique-ity instead of what's 'in style.' she likes to wear sweatpants and tank tops, though she has an array of jeans and tops that don't necessarily match. of course, she is briar. she doesn't care.

SENTENCE ME TO ANOTHER LIFE
graham pritchard
father
mother parvati pritchard (nee patil)
siblings none
spouses none
offspring none
other relations to be plotted
briar tegan pritchard was born into a pureblood magical family on june sixteenth. she was and is the only daughter of graham and parvati, two wizards who grew up during the time of the great war between potter and the dark lord. parvati herself was part of the alliance against voldemort, and has many stories that she tells her daughter. briar dreams big, and dreamed big ever since birth. it was clear that she was a clever girl who knew how to get what she wanted, even when she was merely a toddler. of course, as a toddler she was less ... ansty and violent than she is now. she was a cute kid, one that was coddled and loved but parvati. of course, graham is a different story.
graham was not abusive in the sense of hitting. he never laid a hand on parvati or briar. but he yelled and threw things when he was angry. he always apologized, he said he couldn't help it. he was just an angry person. but briar, clever as she was, began to pick up on her father's actions even when she was young. she grew up angry and hating things, angry with her father for loosing his temper and her mother for not defending herself. briar, now a young child, began sticking up for her mother and herself. usually her replies would snap graham out of his angry stupor, and he'd calm himself. briar hates being undermined and has grown up being the leader. the mother of sorts.
she started hogwarts at age eleven. her parents were so proud, happy that she was following their footsteps in the magical world. briar was powerful it was true, she would be a skilled witch, but she was nothing extroardinary. with training and schooling, she'd be good though. of course, unlike many her age, she did not dream of being an auror. briar was against the ministry and organized things. she wanted to be a vigilante of sorts, fighting on her own terms. briar was all about things on her own terms. she was quite independent. her years at hogwarts consisted of her and her friends getting into trouble for her bold personality. some argue she should've been in gryffindor with an attitude like that, but she was hufflepuff all the way. she stood up for friendships- people mattered most.
when the sickness came along, she tried desperately not to get sick, but with everyone around her falling ill it was almost fate that she did too. and she did, falling dreadly downhill with the sickness that claimed lives. she was sick later though, and the medicine to cure it came out not long after- so she was saved. one of her friends died, though. she'll never forget the disease, whatever it was, that swept through hogwarts that year. now, on her sixth year, not long after it all and with everyone recovering, she is trying to pick herself up too. her other friends survived and they are sticking together like glue. briar, for all her angry nature, is the best friend anyone could have. nothing would happen to her friends.

A TIGER IS A TIGER NOT A LAMB MEIN HERR
roleplay sample
andy was friendly. cassie smiled a bit, and gave a polite but earnest laugh at his words. "well thank you." she said, peering back at carro, who seemed to bask in the praise. vampire's bats were somewhat smarter, and not that carro could understand what andy was saying, he understood the tone of voice. impressed. she chuckled at his stance, and when andy swore, she turned her attention back to him, blinking wide eyes. "oh- yes of course. ta-ta then! and no worries!" she called over her shoulder, making her way into the shadows with carro squeaking incesently at her side. she peered back, watching as andy disappeared within the doors of honeyduke's. and that was when she tilted her head back, inhaling deeply.
oh ... the smell of it. every vampire had a special liking- cassie liked the blood of stressed people. it was just so .. well, sweet with that tangy aftertaste. much like the human candy, smarties. her fangs were very long now, full length. carro was already pacing, flying back and forth, anticipating the bite. cassie ran her tongue along her fangs, sinking deeper into the shadows. she peered at the girl on the bench, the pudgy employee. her blonde hair was shining in the ugly light that the lamps provided. she was still writing- it looked like a letter. cassie's eyes zeroed in on her neck. slowly- like a cat stalking a mouse, and as silent as possible, cassie approached the woman. she was just a few feet away when she lowered herself onto the bench next to her, taking a deep breath and gaining the best control any vampire could have at the moment. right next to such a lovely meal. cassie could feel the monster inside of her clapping, ready. carro cheered her on in her mind. "m'sorry." she muttered, and quick as a flash, leaned in. she opened her mouth wide, her fangs in striking stance, and she bit. the woman gave a grunt of surprise, and then stiffened, frozen. she didn't know what was going on. and soon she wouldn't realize anything was wrong at all.
cassie drank, and once she was finished, she extracted her fangs, leaning back and tilting her head toward the sky. excess blood ran down her chin, dribbling onto her shirt. "mmm!" she blinked and looked back at the woman, now unconcious on the bench. she let out a long breath, feeling a tiny blush creep up. it was always kind fo embarrassing, biting someone. she had a personal bubble, and the need to pop her own bubble was awkward. shaking her head to throw off the feeling, she beckoned carro over. he didn't come, and she frowned, shooting an exasperated glance in his direction. "are you kidding? misbehave now?" she whined, slumping her shoulders. "whatever. go get sis, please." she commanded meekly, and carro now obeyed. he didn't want the vampire status of cassie to be revealed. that would cause too much trouble.
