What can one say about Caedon Lane Rothshrine? Well there are a few words in which he would use to describe himself: funny, intelligent, happy, a prankster, and others of various nature that may seem suitable. As far as being funny, Caedon enjoys a good laugh much like any other young man his age, often taking time out of his day to make a joke or two about the professor's teaching abilities or make a joke as to how to make a slytherin turn red in the face. He's always been able to make his class mates laugh, whether it be with his own humor taking a turn for what may seem the worst, or the simple going ons of the day making him crack out a joke.
Eccentric: Yes some people have even gone far enough to call him eccentric. Just his mannerisms are enough for some to question his sanity. Most days when he is boisterous and ready for a good prank, he can start out as quiet and reserved, only letting his humor get the better of him as he finds it in everyday living. He often takes the smallest humor out of a day and blows it out of proportion, making it funnier than it would have originally been. He's never been a quiet person, but uses his ability to be quiet to add to the effects of a what a good joke would bring. Some people have seen that his eccentricity makes him who he is because without it he would be bland and boring, which is something he has been trying to avoid all these years at Hogwarts.
Intelligent: Since the day he picked up a book at Hogwarts his wit and humor have grown, his intelligence adding to the lines of humor. Books bring out the best in him, often quoting his favorite book when the timing seems to be right. When he's not joking around, his knack for being smart comes out in other forms, like in his scholastic abilities as well. Caedon has always been a pretty bright boy when it came to the everyday world, but with his academic career coming to an end, he hits the books harder, getting the best grades he can and grades are important to him. Even though he loves being the prankster that he is, he still finds time to be the best student he can be, often studying beyond the time needed. School, afterall, isn't just a playground.
Happy go Lucky: Even if the day is proving to be one of the worst, Caedon always has a smile on his face and a skip in his step. It's hard to say if this kid has ever had a bad day in his life. But beneath the kind and happy go lucky persona, there is a prankster hiding in the shadows, ready to spring into action when one least expects it. He is heedless to the world around him, even though he knows the dangers lurking outside the protecting walls of Hogwarts. It is also rare to find him without a smile, or a joke coming from his arrogant features.
Tough Interior, Sticky Exterior Caedon, when not in a prankster mood, is on the defensive when it comes to people he doesn't know. He keeps a tough interior, never letting someone break his barriers unless he lets them fall. He doesn't let anything get to him on the inside, letting things stick to him for a moment and then disregarding it all together. He rarely let's these sticky things get under his skin, mainly because he's developed a kind of shell that can't be penetrated. Things that stick to him stay there for some time and then are brushed away as if they never existed. His tough interior also lets him get away with the fact that he isn't obsessive about being a pureblood. He thinks that purebloods, halfbloods and muggle born witches and wizards should be treated equally, unlike his some of his pureblood counterparts.

overall appearance, one-two good paragraphs please!
Caedon is fairly muscular, the definition of his muscles noticable whenever he wears muscle shirts. His hair is somewhat unruly, and needs to be lathered with gel in order to remain in constant managability. His attire consists of jeans, regular t-shirts, leather hiking boots, and ofcourse either his leather jacket or his black denim one. He has always gone for the bad boy look, finding it to be more suitable to his liking than being dressed up in a suit and tie. He has a shapely face that expresses his feelings and emotions as well as dreamy hazel colored eyes.

two good paragraphs (at least) extensive history please.
A little more than seventeen years ago, a man and woman met on the shores of the United Kingdom where they explained to one another that they would marry. They had been young at the time, each barely over the age of eighteen, just having graduated the previous year from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The boy was heir to little more than the name of Rothshrine and the girl had just recently received a job in one of the bookshops in Diagon Alley. But the both of them were in desperate love of one another. The boy had fancied her ever since their third year at Hogwarts and it took him all the way up until their seventh year for him to get up the courage to ask out the young Ravenclaw. On this eve of a cool day in September the two had vowed that they would be married within the following months, even though their parents blatantly laid down the rules that the two would have no contact with one another. But to no avail. The two met in secret, much like a Romeo and Juliet muggle story, save for the poison and the death involved. They nearly went as far to be married in secret, but being the grown man he was, Kelvin decided that the best for them to do would be to announce their engagement at the girl's birthday party where he would get on his knees and properly propose in front of their families. The whole event went well, and by the end of the evening, the both of them were properly engaged with familie's approval and everything. A few months after the fact, the two of them were married in a small ceremony, and the story of the Rothshrines had just began. It was about a year or so that Caedon made his way into the world, a small bright eyed little boy that would be their first child, the oldest of the Rothshrine children. The birthing went without much incident, a normal, natural birth with which the father sat through the entire thing, holding his wife's hand, even though she nearly squeezed the life out of him. Caedon Lane Rothshrine was born on September 14th, his cries echoing through the halls of the Rothshrine home, seeing as how the family couldn't quite make it to a hospital. Before Caedon had been born, his mother had taken a slight chill, and had been somewhat ill when she had given birth to him. Besides her husband, the doctor and the family nanny were the only ones to witness the beautiful blue eyed babe's birth into the world.
A few years passed them by with the usual going ons for a babe, learning to crawl, then learning to walk and later learning to speak. At first it was just simple gurgles and spit ups, but then Caedon began speaking, and quite a talker he was at that. Over the next few years was pretty normal for a baby growing up in a world that didn't quite know what it was getting itself into when it had allowed such a bouncing bundle into the world. For the most part Caedon was a well-behaved child that didn't do anything rash, or brash that would make his parents question their parenting. By the time he was about seven, he had shown his first sign of being magically inclined, having sent the household dog levitating through the room as he crawled beneath the pooch, looking up the entire time, pointing and laughing. It had been decided at an early age that he was to be homeschooled until it was his time to go to Hogwarts like many before him. By the time he reached the age of eight, his family welcomed the second and third additions to their house hold. Emily and Nevaeh were both the same weight when they were born, being unidentical twins. So now the family had three children to take care of, and they did to the best of their ability. And it was when Caedon turned eleven that the family decided to move to the countryside. They took up residence on a flat outside the busy city, a relatively large piece of land in which they built a two story house. This was the beginning of the Rothshrine farm, and from what they had on their property already (ie. four horses, five cows, chickens and geese, three goats, and a partridge in a pear tree), it was easy to see that the family would have it's hands full.
Around this time, Caedon received his letter to Hogwarts, the envy of the two little girls both bustling with energy. He had taken the train like every other member of Hogwarts, and arrived there with the same amount of wariness, and nervousness as the rest of the students. He went into the great hall, and before he knew it, he was standing in front of the entire school with the ceremonial hat on his head. It pondered a great amount of time before shouting an unmistakable "GRYFFINDOR!!" over the crowd of people. These years went by with the usual pranks, and the light annoyances of being thrown into detention. But all in all it was quite worth it to see the looks on the victim's faces. For the most part his schoolastic career went by without much cause for worry among his parents as they had been quite aware of what a troublemaker the boy could be. It was on one of his escapades where he had met a fellow Gryffindor of whom he had been crushing on since he had come to Hogwarts. She was a year above him and now he had the chance to actually go out with her. He was a fifth year at the time, and had just missed the running for prefect, but it hadn't mattered because he was dating the girl that was a year older than him now. The two of them soon took their relationship further, but seeing as how it was getting way too serious for Caedon, he ended up calling the whole thing off. So he was without the prefect title, the girl of his dreams wanted way too much, and it seems that school was the most important thing in his young life.
At home, however, things were better. The summer months were spent roaming the countryside on horseback, having been taught english at an early age by his mother. Outside of school he did activities such as fencing, and he threw the occasional party whether it be birthday party or his coming of age party, which has yet to take place. At home he spends his time becoming an amateur quidditch player, playing with the magically inclined youth of his neighborhood. For the most part his time spent at home is normal, as far as normal goes.

roleplay sample
The snow fell onto the castle lightly, a gentle breeze carrying the snow flakes down to the ground as they fell. Outside about a foot of snow lay nestled cozily against the castle walls. The sun was behind the clouds, veiled completely out of sight. The trees stood stationary in the back drop of the castle, the snow on them piling above the limbs about a few inches. Outside there were very few people, mainly most of them were indoors, drinking hot cocoa or coffee, and trying to remain warm. The professors too were taking advantage of the Saturday afternoon and were staying in their rooms or roaming the halls, keeping the students in line and keeping the halls clear. Students liked to remain in the halls, whether for some banned magical practices, or to do some pranking on fellow students. Most of the students were either sleeping or doing work they had neglected during the previous week. There were a few students in the great hall partaking in the left overs from lunch. Most of the plates were cleared away, but still a few of them were left out for the students to get before all of it completely vanished. Hot cocoa glasses sat in front of alot of the students, and occasionally it was not rare to find someone who was coming down with a sniffle. It was rather odd because the ceiling was made out to depict a bright sun shining day, when outside the snow didn't let up. Most students thought the ceiling was to make it more bright than just snow everywhere. The Gryffindor table, too, had its fair share of students scribling away at work they had not quite completed over the previous week. There was one student, however, that had his head buried in his hands on top of a book that lay face up and open, its pages slightly damp from the boy's slight drooling.
Upon a more detailed inspection it would appear that the boy was none other than Caedon Rothshrine, pretty boy seventh year and a major drool fest. Literally. He hadn't meant to do so, but the previous week had been extremely hectic and his schedule had been thrown out of whack, thus letting his sleep time come whenever he had the chance to do so. A simple nudge from a fellow class mate sent him shooting straight up, mumbling something about not having let the horse out of its pen. When he had gotten his bearings, he realized that he was in the great hall, his pages covered in a mix of drool and what looked like mashed potatoes.. He hadn't remembered eating mashed potatoes recently. He pulled out his wand, did a quick cleaning spell and began putting his things away in his bag, lest he spill more food on his Transfiguration essay. He had hit a stopping point and his body was telling him he needed rest, not to mention a shower and perhaps a shave. The stubble on his cheeks was beginning to annoy him, and perhaps the girls that happened to look his way. Shrugging his back pack onto his shoulder, he looked around the great hall before following a gaggling group of girls to the staircase that led up to the Gryffindor commonroom. He had lost them once he had reached the landing where the staircase began and as he began his climb, a young student he recognized as a fourth year Gryffindor sped passed him, his belongings juggling in his arms as he climbed the staircases to reach the top floor where the Gryffindor commonroom was nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the every day events. Caedon had just missed the boy's entrance and as the door swung closed, Caedon uttered the password again, watching the disgusted look on the fat lady's face as she swung open yet again to let him through.
The commonroom was understandably empty. It would seem most of the students were either partaking in food, or scribling mercilessly over a potions essay, which he himself had been putting off until the last minute. The Transfiguration essay alone was enough to occupy his weekend, let alone the five pager which would be due by friday two weeks from now, so he had plenty of time to complete it. Pulling his bag closer to his body, Caedon put on a slight smile as he passed the younger boy who was huddling over by the fire place, a book being held shakily in his hands. Caedon reached the door that led into the Gryffindor boy's dormitory and he opened it without so much as a second thought. He strode into the room, making sure he clashed as much as he could to wake his sleeping counterparts. He heard the snoring of atleast two members of his house, at which point he clammered to his own bed, letting the bag slide off his shoulder and rest comfortably on the floor. Deciding that his shower could wait until later, Caedon slipped out of the bulk of his robes until he was down to a simple t shirt and his boxers which were a house colors-clashing green and silver. Satisfied with his attire for sleep, Caedon crawled into his bed and pulled the covers over his head, a sign that he didn't want to be bothered for a good amount of time. Soon the snores were joined by his own, his head resting comfortably against his pillows.
