WELL THIS HERE IS AUGUSTA - 'GUSTA' - LONGBOTTOM, A SIXTH YEAR HUFFLEPUFF. SHE'S LIGHT, APPROACHABLE AND RATHER CHARMING.

AUGUSTA IS FAIRLY GOOD AT MAKING THESE. THE ONLY BARRIER STOPPING HER FROM BEING THE ‘SOCIAL BUTTERFLY’ IS HER MEEKNESS. SHE’S BEEN BROUGHT UP BY TWO VERY QUIET PEOPLE AND IS OBVIOUSLY NOT USED TO SPEAKING HER MIND OR MAKING THE FIRST STATEMENT IN A CONVERSATION. BUT IF YOU DO DECIDE TO APPROACH HER AND MAKE AN EFFORT TO BE HER FRIEND, THEN SHE’LL FEEL A LOT MORE COMFORTABLE AND APPRECIATIVE. THING IS, NOT MANY PEOPLE EVEN BOTHER WITH HER. AUGUSTA HAS HAD A LOT OF ‘AUTOMATIC’ FRIENDS. LIKE FAMILY ACQUAINTANCES AND SUCH. SHE’S NEVER HAD TO ‘WORK’ FOR THEM. SHE’S REALLY AWKWARD WITH SOCIALIZING, AND IT’S ALL BECAUSE OF HER TENDENCY TO RAMBLE. SHE’S PROBABLY KNOWN AS THE ‘RAMBLER’ ALREADY. SHE JUST GOES ON AND ON WITHOUT REALLY NOTICING IT, AND BAM, THERE YOU GO; AN AWKWARD SITUATION. SOME PEOPLE FIND IT CUTE AND AN APPROACHABLE HABIT, BUT AUGUSTA REALLY HATES IT.

SHE'S NO HOPELESS ROMANTIC, MANY PEOPLE WOULD THINK SHE IS, BUT NO. SHE KNOWS WHAT LOVE IN REALITY IS, AND EMBRACES IT. RATHER TOO HARSHLY ACTUALLY. SHE HASN'T COMPLETELY GIVEN UP WITH BOYS, BUT IT'S JUST SO MUCH WORK TO FLIRT AND SUCH. NOW DON'T GET ME WRONG, AUGUSTA IS STRAIGHT, SHE'S JUST NOT ENTIRELY BOY CRAZY. IF SHE'S EVER BEEN IN A RELATIONSHIP BEFORE, IT'S PROBABLY BECAUSE HER FRIENDS FORCED HER TO OR SOMETHING. SHE IS VERY CONSCIOUS OF HERSELF AROUND THEM THOUGH, BEING INEXPERIENCED AND A LITTLE NAIVE. THE ONLY KNOWLEDGE SHE HAS OF ROMANCE IS PROBABLY GAINED FROM THE MUGGLE CLASSICS SHE'S SO FOND OF. IF ANYTHING, AUGUSTA IS HARD TO GET. SHE'S NOT EASILY WOOED BECAUSE FIRST, SHE PROBABLY WON'T GET IT, AND SECOND, SHE'S HARD TO IMPRESS. SHE'S SORT OF A PERFECTIONIST. SHE HATES EGOTISTICAL JERKS. AUGUSTA CANNOT STAND THEM. SO FOR THIS AREA OF RELATIONSHIPS, I WELCOME ANY SORT OF PLOT! DON'T HESITATE TO MAKE SOMETHING TOTALLY RANDOM BECAUSE I REALLY WANT TO BE ACTIVE HERE.

HER ENEMIES ARE MOSTLY SLYTHERINS. THE TWO HOUSES JUST DON'T GET ALONG, AT ALL. PLUS, MOST OF THEM BULLIED HER FATHER AND ARE NOW SOMEWHAT EMBARRASSED AT HOW MUCH HE'S CHANGED. AUGUSTA ISN'T BITCHY AT ALL AND DOESN'T TRY TO GET HATERS. SHE HATES ARGUING...UNLESS ANYBODY'S INSULTING HER FAMILY OR JUDGING HER COMPLETELY WRONG. SHE BOTTLES UP EVERYTHING AND WILL EXPLODE OCCASIONALLY. HER INSECURITY ISSUES MAKES HER REALLY DEFENSIVE AND SHE MOST DEFINITELY DOES NOT HAVE A COOL TEMPER. AUGUSTA TALKS FAIRLY FAST BECAUSE OF HER FLIPPY TONGUE, HER WORDS THEREFORE COME QUITE QUICKLY AS WELL. SHE CAN PROVE TO BE WITTY IF SHE'S NOT AWARE OF HER BOLDNESS. IF ANYTHING, SHE DOESN'T WANT TO COME OFF AS RUDE AND LOUD. HER LIFE REVOLVES AROUND STUPID AND RIDICULOUS MISUNDERSTANDINGS.
SO IN GENERAL, SHE DOESN'T TRY TO PISS PEOPLE OFF. IF PEOPLE HATE HER, IT'S USUALLY HER PERSONALITY OR ATTITUDE THAT ANNOYS THEM.

Augusta && Jon --- Hm. I would think if they actually got to know each other, they would be friends. Both kind of socially awkward and more reserved. But I'm not sure if they would ever really get to talking as they both enjoying being approached rather than the other way around. If nothing else, I'd say at least friendly acquaintances?

oh definitely. gusta would've probably loved roxanne as a childhood friend. seeing as she is more of a leader, gusta could've tagged along all the time. roxanne could either like that, or be slightly annoyed.

aack. hufflepuff biffles for the win! with their personalities, i don't think they'd ever clash, really. they even look like each other! ahah, i love it already. we must thread =]

gusta prefers quiet people. she'd rather talk to them. so if she ever encountered jon in a situation which they could talk, gusta would definitely start talking. of course, she'd ramble on and will get embarrassed. i don't know if jon would find that annoying.

nah, he wouldn't find rambling annoying. he likes that better than having to do all the talking. plus, since i just saw she's best friends with sophia, who is one of jon's good friends, they could just meet via her.

I would say a sister-like relationship. Tinsley isn't a social queen, but she's easy to get along with. She has a child-like allure to her, I suppose.

My Blair-like character. Except, she hates the Malfoys, most of the Hogwarts population, and is a spoiled witch [ ( : Get it? ]. So the HP verison. And yes, I did use Leighton as her playby. x3
And they would hate each other. Or mildly dislike.

oh true true. gusta would appreciate his 'listener' sort of side. she sort of hates preachers. uhm, i'm thinking gusta would be shy around him because she doesn't talk to boys. but if he sticks around, she'll warm up to him.

yeah, they'd cooperate with their difference in personality. gusta is sort of like a child inside as well. but did tinsley have something against sophia? because i think i heard about it i the cbox. if so, sophia and gusta are rather close so there'd be some tension if it were pure hatred or something.

haha, well in gg, blair didn't like jenny at all until nate dumped her right? but jenny humphrey and gusta longbottom are two entirely different people. madeline would most likely find her personality a little annoying, i'm guessing, so gusta would keep her distance. but if madeline decides to insult her or something, there will be conflict

I wouldn't say hate, but more of a guilt-ridden blame. Tinsley's brother died, and so we've worked it out this way; Sophia was the reason why he was out at night- the night that he died. Tinsley, herself, couldn't save him- so she's just a big mess of guilt and anger.

Hahaha, I don't think Sasha would really bother with Augusta much. They could have been paired up once for a project or Hogsmeade trip or something, and Augusta ended up rambling excessively... and Sasha was just like 'uggghh shut up for like two seconds plz -scowl-' and maybe now Augusta is a little scared of her? I dunno if that would fit with her character, but you said she has insecurity issues, so... -shrug- Whatever works, I'm just tossing an idea out there.
