TINSLEY KATHERINE WOOD !
well, well, well. daughter of oliver and katie wood, a twin in case you didn't know. there are a couple words that might describe tinsley, but the one you're looking for is child-like. humans have to age eventually, but to actually grow up is another thing by itself. tinsley sees the world through the eyes of an child, always wandering, always exploring.
despite popular beliefs, tinsley isn't as fragile as she appears to be. while others are trying to whip her into their personal little girl, tinsley is exploring the minds of others. she knows more then she's letting on. her moral compass usually points north, but not always. she likes to play games {most of the time by accident}, mind games, but generally, she's just a little girl.
even though she's a gryffindor, you'll often find others, and herself, doubting whether it's really the house for her. maybe she just got in because all the other woods and bells were gryffindors. those who have seen the other side, the slightly dark side, whisper about slytherin- her ambition, the thrist to prove herself. she doesn't want to be just another wood, one who's being taken for granted.
there's two sides to tinsley; the beauty and the beast. her silky dark hair makes her resemble old fairytale princesses. that what you would think of her, a princess locked in a tower; waiting for her prince to set her free. on the other side, deep inside, there's a whole other story.
onto the inner demon. if she wants something bad enough, tinsley will do anything to get it. of course, she'll probably feel bad in the morning- but then she'll bury whatever it is she did and it'll be all good again. same thing if you push her buttons.
sweet. elegant. secretive .ambitious. quiet
FRIENDS; ;
generally, tinsley will befriend anybody. she'll treat them like family anytime, anywhere. perhaps except a select few, tinsley has the tendecy to hold people at arm's length. if you try hard enough, it's easy to take advantage of tinsley. however, she just might surprise you one day. she doesn't care what house you're from, who your parents are, or what you've done in the past. you could the golden child or the offspring of the devil, it doesn't matter to her.
her variety of friends is not exactly what you'd expect. as said above, she will literally befriend anyone. that includes the shallow dives, the uptight prefects, literally anyone. if you're her friend, then you'll always be a friend.
RIVALS; ;
the only reason why tinsley might dislike you would be if you do something unforgivable. hence, attack a friend or family member. or even herself, actually. tinsley has a hard time holding onto grudges or hating someone for long. but if you push her hard enough, she'll eventually think of you as a rival. in most cases, she'll forgive and forget.
it might be possible for tinsley to be the one who did something. she wouldn't be on to attack, though. a majority of rivals would be because of her family or her friends and she's connected by blood or ties.
LOVERS
every girl wants to have a prince charming, including tinsley. but as of right now, she can't wait on her non-existent prince charming. her mind doesn't operate on the level as every other horny teenager girl, making her valuable. don't get her wrong, she's not a nun. she'll flirt, she'll dance, she'll mingle. but in most cases, she won't look at you as a lover. she's not exactly the one night stand kind of person, but you never know. her inner demon might say otherwise.

MADELINE AUDREY PARKINSON !
when you first hear 'parkinson,' does it not give you the shivers? generations of parkinsons' have went to hogwarts, lived in the slytherin house, and generally made life for others downright painful. in other words, they'll deliver hell straight to your doorsteps.
but then again, that was then and this is now. after being born out of a wedlock, madeline, for several years, have taken it upon herself to take care of her heart-broken mother. now nineteen years old and living as a snake, she doesn't disappoint.
she's naturally cold and distant. her brain is always plotting, always coming up with a plan. somehow, madeline's always beend drawn in to trouble and excitement. however, if you look deep inside, you can find her to be sincere and loyal. that is, for a good cause.
however, she's easily offended. if you just make one small comment, make one small move- she'll put a price on your head. she'll go out of her way to cause trouble for others if they've screwed her, or her family, over. in other words- she's a bitch when she wants to be.
MAJOR; politics
" I think, for the most part, muggleborns should be put in another school. It's not fair to us, the purebloods and halfbloods. The Hogwart's education has decreased slowly over the years. The reason why? We have to slow ourselves down for the muggleborns. They have to catch up on the magical world, to learn things we've known since birth.
In able to get ahead in our lives, we must put aside these differences. Teenage years are tricky- we forget as easily as we learn. The muggleborns will still be able to learn, just at their own rate. "

MATTHEW NEAL NOTT !
My newest character- the all time smexy professor of Hogwarts ! For the record, he teaches at the Hallows and at Hogwarts. By far, he will be the most interesting professor you will ever have.
SUBJECT; Herbology
For a favor to Headmaster Dumbledore, Matthew has agreed to teach Hogwarts. Of course, he didn't really keep his promise. It was until after the war did Headmaster Longbottom track him down and reminded him of his promise. A 'get out of jail' free card, as you might put. His brother was a well known Death Eater- and Matthew has been accused of helping him. But of course, no one can really prove that- can they?
I'm gonna try and make this short.
He's a longtime romantic, but Merlin knows what a hearttrob he is. Of course, he hates his job. Thereforth- slightly resenting Neville Longbottom. But still, he's quite good at it. He's a rather charming fellow, so I suppose he might've made a few friends. But don't get wrapped up, he's oddly picky on his choice of company.

but not with professor sex on legs so here it is.
Zarina & Matthew: Is he the herbology proff at hallows as well? Because I was thinking it would be interesting if him and Zarina fell for each other. She's little miss innocent and it would just make everything so much more interesting with the teacher-student thing going on. I'm pretty sure this was your idea originally but i'm just kind of expanding on it.

Elizabeth and Tinsley --
I'm not too sure where these two would stand. While there's nothing which would really make Elizabeth dislike Tinsley, she's a pretty likable person, I still can't see any reason for her to go out of her way to befriend her. Maybe if they were assigned to work on something together or just some other twist of fate which brought them together, I could see them possibly being friends. Or we could add some spice and give them some reason to dislike each other. Maybe she was mean to Jonathan or something xD Or you know, she just doesn't like Libby's beliefs about Pureblood Supremacy.
Landon and Madeline --
Hmph. Well, he'd probably respect her for being so vocal about her opinions and would also respect that she isn't choosing violence as a way to solve the problem. I'm too lazy to look up how old she is (sorry) but maybe they knew each other at Hogwarts or something? Possibly friendly acquaintances or just acquaintances, either way.
Elizabeth and Madeline --
Libby may have just found her girl crush (not seriously but you know). I think that Libby would really look up to Madeline and just absolutely love her political thoughts. I was thinking maybe their families are friends, all rawr against the muggleborns and everything. So the two grew up knowing each other? Libby would look up to her incessantly. Maybe a sisterly sort of relationship is possible?
Jonathan and Matthew --
Wanting to be a Healer and everything makes Herbology pretty important for this guy. Its also one of his best classes (obviously). So I don't really know a lot about Matt's personality but he could sort of be his mentor in some way or another? Jon would probably spend a lot of extra hours down in the green houses and is a good student and all that, so hopefully Matt would like him well enough and all. If not the mentor relationship, at least on good terms?

Unfortunately, I think I made Tinsley too likable. So, rivals [ if not a really strong one ] would work for me. Tinsley wouldn't really provoke Elizabeth, but she'll counter back if Liz does something first. But only if it's serious.
Tinsley doesn't really have an opinion on the whole pureblood vs muggleborns matter. But in her defense, she's never really thought about it. But if she did, she'd probably be against it.
And as for the reason- Tinsley wouldn't fight Jonathan's fights for him, but she would stand up for him if she has to. However, if she provokes one of her siblings- that's another story.
madeline & landon [/font] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [/center]
Madeline would've made herself known at Hogwarts, but not exactly on purpose. She's nineteen, by the way. ( : So they would've known each other, seeing that they were in the same house. Family friends, perhaps?
The only reason why Madeline is staying at the University is to get her family name back on top. After Pansy's mess, the Parkinsons have been in a slump. So naturally, she's trying to counter the new muggleborn laws. Otherwise, she'd probably drop out and do something more...Madeline-like.
madeline & elizabeth [/font] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [/center]
Well, Madeline is extremely self-centered so she would definately like the fact that someone looks up to her. She just enjoys the attention, in other words.
Normally, Madeline wouldn't put herself around people who are younger than herself. She thinks that highly of herself. But since Elizabeth is like a younger verison of herself, a sister relationship sounds good. But for the record- Madeline is probably one of the worst influences ever. ( ;
matthew & jonathan [/font] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [/center]
In all honesty...Matthew hates his job. It's just a debt to the Headmaster, if you ask him. But secretly, he can be pretty fond of it too. However, he does not enjoy getting close to his students- but he tends to anyways.
I think he'll like Jonathan more than the average, but he's a pretty tough professor. He'll challenge his students and possibly give them headaches [ to be putting it mild ]. But he'll like Jonathan's ambition and the fact that he knows when to shut up.

Rivals works for me, even if they aren't very strong ones. Libby loves being competitive. We could maybe work something out with one of Tinsley's siblings if you'd like? Something about her either bullying them or just something gone wrong. Or we could just have them dislike each other for no apparent reason. I'm down with whatever.
Landon and Madeline ---
Family friends sounds good to me. He might actually be intimidated by her xD But I doubt he'd let that show.
Elizabeth and Madeline ---
Well Elizabeth would definitely be there to give her some attention, haha. Hurrah for bad influences! I'm definitely excited about this relationship, it will just fuel Libby's darker side.
Jonathan and Matthew ---
Haha, that all sounds good to me too. Jonathan would probably be sad if he found out that Matt actually hates his job though.

For Tinsley, I don't think there will be an actual reason for her to hate Elizabeth. Unless she actually harms one of her siblings, Tinsley will get over it in time. HOWEVER. She's been taught to avoid Slytherins, due to recent events and family pride. She doesn't really dislike them or anything, but she just knows that she's not supposed to get along with them. Plus, she's already considered the 'other Wood'. In her opinion, she's just one step away from being an alien.
So that sounds good, the not-really-strong rivarly. But if Tinsley really got to know Elizabeth, Liz will probably bring out her darker side. Which is a really bad thing, by the way. ( ;

x3 Madeline would definately like the fact that she could intimidated him. Well, she'd just assume it anyways. Because she's Madeline and according to her, she's on top of the world. And if we ever thread them, Madeline will definately play games with him and basically make him feel like crap [ if she should ever feel like torturing him ].

There is no way that they'll end up doing something good for society. But yes, Madeline will encourage Elizabeth toward the dark side, and Elizabeth would just add to Madeline's ego.

Bahaha, Elizabeth definitely wouldn't be a good influence on her. But yeah, we can just have them as kind of disliking each other based on the whole feuding houses sort of thing and build on it from there at some point.
Landon and Madeline ---
I'm trying to think of a way to spice things up between them but I'm coming up short right now. But I think threading them would be fun so we should do that sometime.
Elizabeth and Madeline ---
Sounds like a recipe for trouble and Libby is totally down for that. xD

Hmmm. Would Landon be a junkie? Because, if you read Madeline's history, she's been known to provide certain illegal magical substances to underage students before. Because Madeline could provide him with firewhiskey and whatnot.
