When Draco changed he remembered nothing that had happened in the office since becoming a rock. He knew not of his wife's panic which caught him off guard. "If I didn't know better I'd say you were worried" he was genuinely astounded by his reaction, especially when she put her arms around him. Nothing traumatic had ever happened to him on the floo network, he could've put it to bad luck but he knew the real reason was because no one dared cross him in any network anymore since Draco could throw them off balance. He wasn't impressed with her office, his wife looked as if she had not been substantially educated with the lack of books present in the office. He knew that Tomes and Scholls sold books but only poetry books and he could think of no other shop that sold books that had a pureblood owner. Or, if Draco was to be less literary, shops that weren't overrun by mudbloods. He was ambitious in duplicating these opinions of the lower bloods onto his son, though Astoria saw him more than Draco did so he couldn't be sure if that was working.
Though Draco was on a practical job where he didn't have an office, it was all fieldwork, he would've still demanded instruments playing in his room if he had an office inside Hogwarts. Draco remembered Dumbledore having the snazzy office, why couldn't Astoria get something more updated? She'd had the office since last August, surely that was enough time to set the place up. "Ella Wilkins at work has a beautiful office, know what she does? She works with the metals. You could get a better office if you spoke to someone about it. I could get a journalist to feature it in the Wizard DIY section of the daily prophet" he recited proudly as a way of distracting his gaze from the disgust that was apparent for the room. He said it with such pride that he caressed Astoria's shoulders lovingly as he said it, naively hoping to achieve that heart-skipping sensation that used to happen when they had constantly lusted for each other and exchanged more than just dear kisses. There had once been a flame, light like eternal, it used to shake his world until she was the only thing standing straight.

As it always would be since they were kids, there would be a cocky sarcasm that tickled her rather than annoyed her at times. This was one of those times when she was being driven mad by it, rather than agitated. Pulling away for a moment to merely stare at him face to face she couldn't help but pout for a moment. Giving him a false sense of guilt before she soon turned over her mood. A smile played on her lips as she slapped his arm playfully shaking her head, "Maybe, maybe not, you aren't going to find out now are you." Suddenly aware of how powerfully clingly she could get if she were nervous for her husband's life. Soon however she could only stare at him puzzled as she held her hands on her hips, ready to rant when it soon dawned over her. Realizing her husband's time was of in his head she was able to get that dismissed in her mind by an overwhelming distraction she felt. How her husband moved his hands over her shoulders she felt weak at the knees and gave the most lightest giggle, then falling to a fit of them.
Lifting herself by standing on her toes she kissed him deeply before breaking away for a moment, "Sweetheart, I've only had this office for a few weeks, not much to get done with the place." Going onto kiss him again to prevent any shock to be drawn out, her lips curled into a smile. Breaking away from the kiss she nuzzled into his chest again, "Toshiko is comming this weekend to fix the place up with me, the designer of the family and all that jazz, I don't need any spotlight. All I need is to say she designed the room and I'll have some attention, but even then," brushing her lips against his own once before she continued speaking. She didn't quite know what to do other than wave her hand over the door to ensure it was locked. Lovingly looking around at what she already had accomplished, "I have family pictures up and stuff, what's the big?" Wondering whether she should have read that transcript with such a fatigued mind the day before, having just slipped into teen speak. Shaking her head she could only say, "Ignore that," and kiss him before he had a chance to say much else. Honestly she thought the best part of their relationship started when they started kissing one another.
This was before she playfully tugged on his shirt, "You have a day of don't you?" She asked with a spark of spunk in her eyes, while she formed a grin. About to say more when there was a knock on the door, looking a little irritated she summoned up a kind expression on her face and pointed to the door to the adjoining room. Motioning for him to go into the room, "Hurry up!" Astoria prompted in a low hiss, hoping that the student didn't need anything to drastic, or whether or not the teacher could come back another time. Checking in the mirror she checked the door and saw it was only the morning newspaper, turning to her husband she hadn't communicated clearly to. Shaking her head she threw her arms up in the air, "Mmm, How about when 'toria gives the key to Dra he decides it's a good idea to get scarce so she doesn't loose her job?" Rolling her eyes when she realized she didn't explain, "I had that room adjoined to make lunch breaks more fun, no one knows about it but Hogwarts' itself, when's the last time a building went blabbing?" Pausing for a moment she stopped him, "Besides our honeymoon," in a tone signifying she wanted nothing to do with the topic of conversation.

Draco loved how they could behave like children sometimes, it was one of his favourite qualities in Astoria. She hadn't lost touch of that girly optimism and playfulness that could cheer him up. The part he hated about her was the way she felt she could rant at him though, as if he didn't do everything for her. Though he didn't mind her kissing him in order to conceal his protest - whatever it may have been, he could never remember when he was kissing his beautiful wife - every now and then he did find it frustrating forgetting what he was saying and going along an entirely different and hand-picked train of thought brought forth by Astoria.
"Just because you infatuate me with your lips doesn't mean I'll be any nicer" he chastized with an unconvincing scowl. He had assumed she had a self-locking door that unveiled itself upon the touch of skin on the inside. "Oh really? What kind of fun did you have at lunch breaks?" his low voice grumbled unapprovingly. Selfish as it was, he didn't like that she had fun without him, it sounded so unnatural for a wife to have fun without her husband. Not to mention her method of transport was, in political terms, a riot. A school of dolphins could make their way through the floo network, which meant that Astoria was not safe here at all.
"I don't know about Toshiko. I mean, there are other designers.." he said as he scratched his chin and looked around the room a little bit. Maybe he should've left the office-talk there, but he couldn't understand why any wife of his shouldn't be lavished and spoilt. Then again, maybe that was one of the reasons Draco had married her, she wasn't the type that wanted to be pampered all the time though if Draco had offered more he wasn't so sure she could decline. He knew for certain that if he gave her a hand written note offering her a footrub she wouldn't refuse for the sheer fun of watching him squirm with his labouring hands.
"So.. you just sit here and.. talk to the students?" he asked with a new face and a new attitude, while he was here he might as well learn about his wife's job.

Rolling her eyes at what her husband promised she gave of a sort of sarcasm, "Whoever said it was to keep you nicer?" Astoria asked questioningly, almost curious in her tone right before she bit her bottom lip softly in a coy sort of manner. Raising her eyebrow playfully her face soon soured rolling her eyes she blew in a rather annoyed tone. Shaking her head she wrapped her arms around his waist, looking up with a rather lustful gaze. His annoyance with how it was worded was all this would turn into, "Sweetheart, I had the room added for some fun, you know, so we don't have to use the office, and well this is also a great room to hold floo talk, which is nice to talk to family and such so they don't bug us at the wrong moments at home." Astoria said the last statement proudly, almost as if she wanted some sort of praise from her husband for thinking of such a gesture. Honestly she never knew why she didn't think of it before, it well, just worked out perfectly.
Draco had never really been all that fond of Toshiko although the paperwork were stating that she was clearly pure-blood there was nothing like that between them. There was just this continuing rivarly for attention that Tosh was convinced she always won. Astoria loved them both differently, her cousin like a sister while Draco was the romantic love that filled her heart yet she still wouldn't take sides. Unless they were being obscenely conflicting of one another at fault of merely one, which generally things wouldn't get that far. Tosh wasn't one to make her choose out of fairness, "But this one is family, and my closest friend, she knows what I want up, and what I would simply faint to." Astoria honestly wondered whether her husband had bothered to realize the desk was far away from the window. She had a deathly fear of heights and knew he would most likely have picked up on the strangeness of the placement. Mainly because it seemed he had never figured out such a phobia she had after all her boggart was unimaginable heights. Draco's mood however changed in all sorts of aspects, something which made her eyebrows rise in surprise.
Her own mood brightened as she shrugged with a sort of smile that was almost joyful in some ways, nodding softly, "Well I suppose if you want to break it down like that, on the outside that does look like it." Astoria explained, "They come to me, which is most likely the most silliest thing, they don't know how to ask for help." Pausing for a brief moment she couldn't help but note, "I help people, they come in and start talking, sometimes you can tell that they want to get to the point, sometimes I divert them to that or let them continue talking, it all depends on what they need." The honestly and heartfelt words that went into how she spoke was something hard to ignore, the pure pride she felt in her work, the enjoyment and excitement she had in explaining.

"So if you don't intend to keep me nice how do you want me?" he countered with a raised eyebrow. He was forced to accept her explanation of the other room on the count of it making perfect sense. "Stop doing that" he said with a smirk, "I hate it when your right" he grinned and lowered his head down for a loving kiss. A part of him hated her effect on him, being vulnerable and weak to her needs. To salvage what bit of him he could he took the first opportunity to correct her, "If they don't know how to ask the help they wouldn't have come through the door. The students that don't know how to ask for help don't know anybody to turn to" Draco could remember feeling that way.
There had been nothing worse. The beautiful dry coast was in front of it and he had been drowning in the sea of death-eaters. There was only so much he could blame on his father. No matter how many items and objects he could've used to fend them away he followed them like a puppet dancing in their gambler's charm. "So." he cleared his throat solemnly, "to what frequency do you get visitors? is it possible you'll get on in the next half hour?" he suggested, his words lathered in lust. His hand throwing off a copy of unfogging the future off her desk. He was still conscious about the room, a rodent must have the right to live there. By the time Toshiko started decorating blue salamanders would've started moving in.
He could hear the swaying zing of the snitch outside, indicating Quidditch practice. From this Draco assumed that Astoria wouldn't get a lot of people coming to see her. By Mars he couldn't control himself from snapping if any student dare find a problem with him visiting his wife at work. By Venus, he would enjoy some quality time with his wife. There hadn't been a divorce in the Malfoy family since the 1680s, but it didn't mean that he didn't want a happy marriage.

Draco was awfully confused as to why she had no intention of keeping him nice, shaking her head and giggling softly. Only sticking out her tongue just a bit before she shrugged, "I'm kissing you because it's extremely enjoyable. So really, I suppose it's merely a selfish play on my part." Astoria explained with such a beautiful gleam in her eyes, with that touch of enjoyment in her eyes. Soon however having to further her detail only to get a sort of admittance from her husband that she usually didn't get much of a chance to hear. That made her giggle gleefully feeling her heart skip beats when he lifted his head downwards to meet her lips. Wrapping her arms around his neck she was on her toes once more, deepening his kiss with a loving intention. Almost ready to protest when he broke away until she soon realized that his words were meant to remind his wife. Lifting her hand to his cheek silently she nodded.
"Your right, which is why it's so hard sometimes, i wonder how many students don't realize I am here to help them." With this she picked up on the action that went on outside, and moved for the window. Seeing the shadows of Quidditch players she thought to close the blinds before any of them even glanced into her office. She didn't exactly need it advertised that he was visiting. This is when a question turned a rather cheeky grin on her face, closing the window and letting the curtains shade the room only slightly. Even ensuring to add the charms of non-breakable windows so there wouldn't be any Quidditch Players fly into and bring glass across the floor. Hearing her husbands question she turned with a rather sultry look as she licked her lips. Shrugging only playfully she moved forward with a swing in her hips, picking up the copy of the book he dropped on the floor and placing it back on her desk. Pulling the cuffs of her husbands shirt to pull him in for a kiss she only allowed him a chance to breathe when she then took hold of his hand. Bringing him forward only to answer his question from earlier, "Mmm, a half an hour? That's really all you think you need?" she sighed once. Having only been speaking in above a whisper she lightly giggled, "I estimate at least forty-five minutes love. Which I can spare, more than willingly," she wanted to spend some time with him in any way or form.

Draco was forced to admit that if she in the same mind-set as him her acceleration of time was both a compliment and an insult. He took the right side of it though and showed none of that displeasure in kissing her like the loving husband he was. His hands wound around her body, he was extremely turned on by the way she took control. Years of fighting for control with his wife yet knowing he was never going to get it. His wife was her own person and not even Draco could tame her, that was why he loved her. His hands explored her body with new confidence now that the blinds were shut, feeling more curious as to now much of his wife he had missed since..he couldn't remember the last time he kissed her so intimately.
Often, it was more a case of a kiss before work, and when he had the day off she was working, vice versa. This helped Draco's ego knowing he had made the plunge today to do whatever means possible to spend time with her, which his parrot/rock form would attest to. He could see edges of beater's bats from the revealed corners that the blinds didn't cover. He could also see that someone had set off a decoy detonator presumably for distraction. Quidditch hadn't changed a bit from when he was young.
"Well" he grunted when he departed, "I think I'm going to do some exploring while you help people." the last part of his sentence was said in irony, and on cue the door opened and revealed a student. "Hey Jimmy" he said to the student who looked perplexed. Draco loved that look, as if he knew everything. The student didn't know what to do with this and Draco took his leave there. There was no need to mention that he worked with the boy's mother. "Thank you for your help Mrs Malfoy" he chuckled, shutting the door behind him. He could have some fun in Hogwarts for a while, come back, maybe see Scorpio. Where was that boy anyway?
