→ HAVE YOU HEARD THE NEWS THAT YOU'RE DEAD ?NO ONE EVER HAD MUCH NICE TO SAY ,( I THINK THEY NEVER LIKED YOU ANYWAY ! ) - - - - - - - - - - After everything that had happened Kieron had certainly not been the same. Watching your brother die at your own hands had a way of changing a person in strange and irrevocable ways. Nobody really knew what had happened that fateful night and those that did weren't really saying anything but they didn't have to because his teachers and fellow classmates were noticing. Withdrawn and rather on edge he was difficult to really talk to, moving like a zombie from class to class or not going to class at all. His parents were hollow shells of their former selves with their youngest son gone, barely able to function or so it seemed. Kieron had gone home to break the news personally and the usual grieving process had ensued without the acceptance and he wasn't quite sure if that would ever come.
He had been pushed and shoved to the door of the resident counselor and he had fought against it every step of the way. Unable to deal with him his professors had sent him to the Headmistress and she had spoken with him for what had seemed like hours. Kieron had been about as responsive as a rock but she had been patient and understanding. So understanding that he wanted to egg her on to a different reaction--make O'Dell lose her famous 'cool.'
But she didn't and for some reason he was here, waiting and clearly growing more agitated with every passing moment.

Astoria disliked sitting in such an uncomfortable chair no matter how hard she worked to make her the seat more favorable. There was something about when she was handed a case a strong need to go home and hug her husband, or sit in a beanbag chair. Get her dog from home even or flip through photo albums of her family, the best solution was to help the person she got the file for. So far she had read all of the sadness the students were sent through and no one had come at all. The tears that welled up in her eyes as she read over the latest words, detailing the way those lost souls would have perished.
Feeling down and going home only to realize her husband wasn't in, she took this moment to find her stuffed animals and pull herself together. She wasn't exactly a mess all the time in her job but whenever she would read out the case the sooner she should see the patient. With such an eagerness to help people she had learnt how to speed read but with such a huge case file she needed to take her time. She flooed back to the office without another delay with a solemn look plastered across her face and found herself back where she started.
Breathing became a very mundane and highly dire exercise to carry out as she slowly turned to the door to see a young man standing in the doorway. He looked to agitated which was enough to make her flinch in a nervous flutter. Beginning, "I-I am s-so-sorry to keep you waiting." He looked rather intimidating although he were years younger than her, she just felt so horrible to see his face. With such an expression on her face that would mimic a small child in trouble with their parent. Nerves gripping her she walked forward carefully and almost cautiously to her desk, motioning to the seat in front of her, "Please sit down." Astoria offered in an almost plead, young men could be rather scary if they were in a bad mood.

→ HAVE YOU HEARD THE NEWS THAT YOU'RE DEAD ?NO ONE EVER HAD MUCH NICE TO SAY ,( I THINK THEY NEVER LIKED YOU ANYWAY ! ) - - - - - - - - - - As a petite blond woman approached Kieron's eyes narrowed, lips pursing as he looked her over. This had to be the guidance counselor to the Hogwarts students and he could tell that he was making her nervous just by the way her eyes darted and her shoulders hunched. Pursing his lips he attempted to ease his face into something resembling an easy-going smile and knew that if he could see his own face he'd probably be failing. Quietly following her into the office he took her direction without a word and fell into the seat that she had pointed out moments before. Crossing his arms over his broad chest Kieron merely stared across the desk, reading the nameplate in one quick glance. Astoria Malfoy. Blue eyes rose to meet hers once more, lips twitching imperceptibly as though making a failed attempt at a half-smile.
"It's not a problem," His voice is gravelly from disuse which almost surprises him as he leans back and away from Astoria. His surroundings do nothing to set him at ease, uncomfortable with talking about his 'feelings' and whatnot. And he could not and would not tell Mrs. Malfoy his secret, if there was one thing he feared more than death it had to be Azkaban. I would rather be killed than go there. Of course the Dementors had revolted all those years ago and had been dealt with but still, if one thought of despair that horrible place certainly came to mind.
"So what am I supposed to do? I don't really know why my teachers sent me here, there's nothing wrong with me." One lie on top of another lie, they were coming easier than he had ever suspected them to. Wasn't that a frightening thought?
I just want to get this over with.
