nicknames just elisa.

date of birth
year and house of preference sixth and ravenclaw
bloodline half-blood (half-veela)

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE EXPOSURE THE LENS
five foot and seven inches
height
weight one-hundred and three pounds
hair colour light blonde, almost bleached looking.
eye colour light blue
skin tone elisa has a very pale skin tone, often the only color other then make up is her cheeks flushing, and even then, she doesn't blush alot.
play-by taylor momsen
elisa's appearance isn't something she enjoys, really. her genetics isn't something she flaunts. but, somethings people really can't help. her blonde hair comes down almost to her waistline, emanating a faint silverish glow that isn't something she can help. she's got a thin stature, though she slouches so she doesn't draw as much attention. in elisa's mind, this is all just a curse, not something she should be proud of. her eyes are her most striking feature and they always have this look that tells you her mind is off in another place, most of the time she isn't even paying attention to whomever she's talking to. she's quite the pale girl, not really caring about that, honestly. she isn't the type to go to the tanning beds. she has very long legs and that is the one attribute she does show off, wearing tights and shorts skirts.
elisa has a slightly rebellious sense of style, though she loves a skirt as much as any girly-girl would. she tends to wear skinny jeans when not wearing a skirt. typically you'd find her in a button down skirt, a short little skirts, some tights, (she can't stand being cold, especially when she's outside more) and a loosely fitted tie. always accompanied by a leather jacket but, she'll just chill many days and throw on a pair of sweats. really, somedays she'll be well groomed and others she just won't care. it depends on her mood. she very rarely wears alot of make up, or atleast it doesn't look like alot to the naked eye.

SENTENCE ME TO ANOTHER LIFE
peter demitite
father
mother aislyn lacroix
siblings only child
spouses nada
offspring nopee.
other relations
peter demitite had never had the best of luck, one could actually say he was cursed (not that someone hadn't) and funnily enough, when rain poured down on the small village he lived in, peter's luck changed. he met a lovely woman named aislyn and the phrase love at first site really did apply to his situation, he was infatuated from the moment he saw her. ofcourse, every man in the village had been smitten with her. it was part of her charm, her non-human charm. peter was the only one who took it very far, the only one who approached her. he saw that his luck couldn't get much worse and decided to take a shot. lucky for him, it paid off. she was impressed with his courage and decided to give him a chance, not really thinking it would last long. peter was a handsome man, but his charm was in his intelligence and the way he new what aislyn wanted before even she did. they both fell madly in love with one another, both equal in the way they felt. aislyn loved peter just as much as he loved her.
eventually, elisa's mother became pregnant, carrying a baby girl. the pregnancy and the labor couldn't have gone more flawlessly and the loving couple gave birth to a beautiful, baby girl to be named elisa. she grew up in the arms of both of her parents, discovering the signs of magic early on when she was five. she had a certain love for making their pet fish hop through the air to land in another fishbowl next to their previous. she was a bouncing baby girl, learning quickly and easily. her mother stayed at home while her father had work at the ministry, an auror. her mother was very controlling of her daughter, only wanting the best for her ofcourse, but not letting her be a kid. she filled elisa's day with reading and learning, though elisa certainly didn't mind. she loved to learn, but she also loved drawing even more and her mother saw that as foolish. that was when elisa became more rebellious, drawing behind her mother's back. she found it strangely exciting doing something bad. even though she was still that adorable, rule abiding child all of us were when we were younger.
her life took a turn for the worse when her father decided to take her to the office one day, leaving her mother home alone. it was in the time when death eaters were strong and they killed elisa's mother as a threat torwards peter, burning down their house afterwards. elisa was too young to understand it, only knowing that her mother was gone at the age of seven. in the beginning after her death, elisa's dad tried to fill the roles of both parents and he really was trying, anybody could see that. but, he was very torn up by the loss of his wife that he was inwardly losing it. just like his daughter does now, he kept it from everybody. he was very consumed with readying elisa with the tools she needed to keep herself sake, he even tried to force animagi on her when she was eleven. he wanted so badly to protect his daughter, but he couldn't protect her from himself. his lessons were so mentally wearing for elisa she began getting sick. eventually she started beauxbatons and could be away from her father; learn at her own pace.
sadly, when elisa was thirteen, peter had been diagnosed mentally insane with strong paranoia. he was forcibly admitted to st. mungo's hospital and when taken in he shouted at the nurses, calling them all death eaters. elisa acted like this didn't both her, already developing her strong personality at the age of fifteen. she tried her hardest to ignore the taunts of her peers at beauxbatons, saying she was going to end up like her father, mad. these comments were mainly from girls whom were jealous of the fact that the boys wanted her because of her mother's genetics. eventually these comments caused so many problems for elisa, that she begged for her new family to allow her to attend hogwarts. they cared much about elisa, having not taken no for an answer when they asked the hospital if they could take care of peter's daughter. they were big family friends and wanted the best for her. their daughter didn't want to attend hogwarts, but they allowed elisa without a second though. wanting her to be happy and knowing she wasn't where she was. it's elisa's first year at hogwarts, hoping no one will know of her family there as she begins her sixth year.

CAUSE WITHOUT YOUR DEVOTION;;
surely all that i dreamed of would fail !
[ like a bird without wings that longs to be flying ]
elisa's hair twisted around her finger as she stood in front of the mirror, the only one in her dormitory. she didn't know what she was looking at anymore, she didn't think it could possibly be her. so much had changed over the past year and even though her appearance remained a constant, she still didn't recognize herself in the mirror. it was like she was looking at a different person and from much further away then the foot back she actually was. One could say she was wallowing in self pity, it was true, she was sulking. the first of the fatherly related taunts at hogwarts had reached her, she'd though she wouldn't hear them anymore. they were much fewer the beauxbatons, but still. it didn't change the fact that they were back. it was by a slytherin, though elisa had still been surprised. this new school had become such a hope for her and now, she didn't know what it was. she didn't want to go back, that was for sure. elisa wasn't going to run anymore, which, she supposed, was why she seemed so different in her reflection. stronger, less willing to let someone get inside her head. she felt much less vulnerable, though she still knew her weakest could be attacked at any moment with one single letter. she hadn't recieved a letter from her father since coming here, so a month she guessed. it made sense, he didn't even know where she was, how long that would last, she didn't know. elisa didn't even think she wanted him to know her new home, not until he was whole again. she forced herself to smile in the mirror, as if trying to make her reflection believe something. believe there wasn't something tugging at her heart strings as she turned away.
classes had ended only an hour ago, atleast for elisa. she had a free period the last hour of the school day. she didn't like that at all, it meant she didn't have anything to do until the rest of the classes ended. none of her friends had the same schedule, atleast that she knew of. elisa needed a distraction or her mind would wander off into a place where she didn't like being, like what had happened just before, in front of the mirror. school had always been the easiest distraction and she liked it, but it wasn't a permanent fix. she needed other ones, things to keep her moving. usually, they weren't always healthy for her, drinking and marijuana being the two most frenquent. she was alot more different then the girls she saw around her all the time. she was messed up and that wasn't going to change over night, even with magic. she laid back on her bed and groaned loudly. the ultimate sound of boredom when it came to elisa, she wasn't one that just sat there and made noises. she tended to move around more then she sat. sitting up after her little spell, her eyes averted to the window, making her smile. the sun was shining beautifully over the lake, almost antagonizingly so. who was she to let such a wonderful day go to waste? she wouldn't ofcourse. she pulled on her button down white shirt and skirt on, having been standing only in her undies before and stood up, giving her cat pip, a nickname for phillip, one last stroke before walking gracefully- almost like floating- to the door.
elisa turned a few heads as she walked through the castle, her destination the school grounds. it was like that wherever she went, her genetics demanded attention. it was so irritating to her. she wasn't one to want or have love, but she knew she could never be sure if what they felt was more then just attraction and she couldn't stand it. what was worse is she didn't have her mother around to ask how she had survived the longing looks. though, elisa's mother had embraced her appearance, getting a wierd sense of satisfaction when guys looked at her. she had been much more dominating then elisa, walking with a commanding prescene that captured everyone in the room even if they didn't want to look, they couldn't help it. she had been a vain woman, not that elisa had noticed until she had gotten older. ofcourse, she missed her dearly but it didn't change the facts. her mother wouldn't have understood, but elisa would never admit that to herself. the fact that someone might understand her position was something that made her happy. a fond lie to herself. the mark of a great liar was being able to lie to yourself and elisa did that like a professional. most of the time she didn't even notice that she did it, telling herself everything would be fine or that her father was just overworked. she could convince herself of anything, even when she knew it wasn't true.
elisa sighed and said to one specky, third year boy, "why don't you take a picture? it'll last longer." she gave this reaction alot when she caught people staring, cruel, really. she cringed slightly when she saw the boys embarrassed face, but she didn't apologize. no, she was much too proud to do anything of that sort when it was his own fault. her long legs stretching out in front of her, she finally made it to the grounds, pleased to find that it was very nearly close to empty. it was a little chilly outside, it was britain after all, but she didn't mind. not when the weather provided a perfect distraction from the hollows in her mind. she hated being left to herself as did most people. she needed the world which sounded wierd, but true. whenever she thinks of death her first thought it always about having to leave all of the wonderful things and people behind. she doesn't believe in heaven or hell, just solitude for when you died and that was something she didn't want to come faster then it should. death was inevitability to her, but she was going to prolong it as long as she possibly could. kicking off her sandles, she let the grass go in between her toes and smiled to herself, loving the fresh feeling. her eyes went to the sunbathed lake almost immediately after and she trotted to the edge, eyeing it slightly. what a rush it would be to feel the water rushing through her veins. it seemed slightly foolish, but even more exciting. she cast her wand to the side, having carefully tucked into her skirt. it emitted sparks as it hit the ground, making elisa laugh lightly.
twisting her form around, she checked to make sure no one was looking her way. the last thing she wanted was for a rumor to get around about the veela stripping. she'd never live it down. she didn't quite understand why she was doing this, maybe she just needed something to get her mind off of everything else and... jumping in the lake did that. she quickly shed her shirt and her skirt, laying them neatly on the ground. she cast one last look around before taking a deep breath, diving into the cold water in front of her. her eyes remained open but she didn't see anything other then her snow, white hand in front of her face. she felt so free as she twisted around beneath the surface, invisible to the world above her. not even realizing the world she'd just entered, she had yet to hear the stories of merpeople and the giant squid. she didn't really care at that point, not about anything. she wished she could simply stay in the water away from everything else, but sadly, that would never last. and she realized that when the cold hit her. it knocked the wind out of her and she frantically game to the surface, shivering and gasping for breath. she didn't swim to the edge though, not really to leave the comfort of the water. she pushed her hair back and let her cares go with it, just floating.
