Adam Lambert (and for the record, he's been my regular play-by since before he was hugely popular, thank you very much (; xP).
Osirishas a rather, well, pretty face for a boy. No, he's not unusually attractive or baby-faced, he's literally quite 'pretty' and feminine. His naturally long-lashed eyes are what he would say is his best feature, though his bright toothy smile is what seems to really leave an impression on people. That's not to say that many people don't try to immediately judge him by his flashy hair, make-up and outfits, but his smile is what seems to change their mind. He has a rather pointy nose and slightly high and prominent cheekbones. His complexion is tan, making his blue eyes stand out all the more. Always having been taller than most, he only recently grew out of being underweight for his height. These days, he has finally gotten more of a build. While he is still thin, it is now more athletically so, even with a fair amount of muscle.
Osiris knows how to make anything he wears unique. He even touches up his school uniform with little decorations; it's just too plain for him otherwise. He'll add embroidery or rhinestones or other things of the sort, to his tobes, just to add a bit of extra sparkle. When out of that awful, required uniform, he goes all out. Though his tops are generally black, white or grey, they are anything but boring. Graphic tees and hoodies with the craziest designs and logos on them that he can find are his favorite. If looking to go for something fancier, on special occasions for instance, he will throw on a leather jacket or fitted black robe. He has an assortment of dark blue and black jeans, all different, whether torn a little or with a chain attached to the waist. On top of anything and everything he wears, school clothes or not, he piles on accessories. He won't be seen without at least one necklace, ring and earrings in his double-peirced ears. Last but not least, he is rarely seen without make-up, even if only a bit of black eyeliner. Most often, his eyes are sparkling with blue, green, teal or silver shadows. Despite the comments and strange looks he gets from others, especially the other guys, he loves his unique style, and he loves the muggle-style on of his muggleborn friends introduced him to.

Osiris Lucan Rowntree was born on January 30, 2005, to Lucan and Anakia Rowntree. Osiris was the third child of five, leaving him to grow up as the dreadful middle child. He and his family moved to Liverpool when he was only two, and they have lived in the exact same house since. The house in a small Wizarding Village was full of other children, yet he still always seemed to find himself alone. Though he truly craved for attention and friends, he was often shunned, as even from a very young age he was seen to be different. Things like his preference to go steal his mother's make-up and play dress-up, over joining the quidditch game down the street, got him strange looks and the other children muttering behind his back.
On his first night at Hogwarts, he was sorted into Gryffindor house, not Slytherin like every other member of the Rowntree family. This was seen as a disgrace to the family name. Lucan Rowntree was a man who remained strict on housing and bloodlines, even after the war. Osiris's father went as far as to send his son a Howler, threatening him and warning him that if he were to do anything else wrong, he would be disowned and not allowed back home. Despite his dislike of the family, he was only eleven and the idea of being abandoned was rather frightening, and so he kept on his best behavior all year. He knew that his father was in no way joking. The man was cold and cruel, he always had been.
As the years slowly passed, Osiris's abnormality only grew, as did his father's strictness and the whole family's overall dislike for the boy. Never openly admitting to anything, but not really needing to, Osiris's choices and actions toward everything made it obvious that he was becoming what was considered unacceptable to his parents in every way possible. From early teens on, he openly opposed, from his choices in studies and goals, to something as simple as his changing appearance. His tendency to slack, putting fun before work, and catching up last minute, didn't help matters. While he managed to keep his grades good enough, he earned his fair share of detentions, most often for staying up too late partying, sleeping in and arriving late to class, on occasion without the due homework. After the years of dealing with his family, Osiris is highly relieved that when this school year ends, he won't have to return to Liverpool.

roleplay sample
Saturday morning. You were supposed to be able to sleep in on Saturday mornings, but one certain Ravenclaw boy never could. The moment the sun shone through the blue hangings around his bed, he was awake. Grumbling sleepily, Alixei pushed the hangings aside and brought his legs down, so that his feet touched the floor. Realizing that everyone else in the dormitory was still asleep, quite soundly, he stepped lightly and silently as he moved around getting dressed. Stowing the little container of teal eyeshadow back into the drawer of his bedside table, he looked up at himself in the mirror. A smile formed on his lips as he watched his hair go from black to blue to green. He tilted his head and it switched to vibrant pink with a streak of yellow. Eyes widening, he hurriedly changed it back to black, and then added a splash of teal across the front half, settling with that. Staring at his teal highlighted blue eyes, he considered changing them for once, but decided against it. He liked their natural color, especially the bright sky blue shade they were at the minute, in the sunlight. Chuckling silently to himself, he snatched up his bag and wandered out, thinking about the matter the entire time. Now that he had good control of it, being a Metamorphmagus really was amazing.
Alixei didn't see a single person along the way. He really was the only one, or close to the only one, up and around early Saturday. Stopping outside the Great Hall, he peered around the open doors. There was a handful of students spread across the hall, the majority at the Hufflepuff table. Thinking for a minute, he wondered if she should grab something, perhaps like toast, that he could just take along with him outside. "Nah, I don't need anything," he mumbled to himself. He wasn't really that hungry yet. He could wait until lunch time. He rarely ate in the mornings anyway. Usually only when there was something with cinnamon, the smell of it was just too enticing. There was nothing with cinnamon this morning though. He shook his head and started walking again, straight through the doors into the entrance hall and on through the next set leading outside.
The grounds were completely deserted. That brought another smile to Alixei's face. It wasn't that he didn't like the other people around the castle, in fact, he loved socializing. The thing was that they didn't seem to like him very much. He talked and hung out with the other Ravenclaws when he was in the common room, but he didn't really have anyone he could consider a true friend. He was one of those people that everyone seemed to think was too different. He dressed and acted different than the other guys. He had different views and beliefs on various matters. He had heard a few refer to him as the 'male Loony Lovegood'. They couldn't come up with anything better than that, or the expected insulting names. He actually found it all rather laughable. They could say whatever they wanted. Laughing, outloud this time, he looked out across the lake as he came to a halt right at the water's edge. Alixei yawned and stretched his arms high over his head. Looking around once more, he lowered himself down to the grass. He slipped his boots of and dipped his polished-nailed toes into the cool water, before pulling a peacock feather quill, teal ink and a notebook from his bag. Scribbling down random words for lyrics, he sang as he did so. "All we wanna know's where we goin' when we die...all this killing so, we can reach beyond the sky...set us ablaze and wander deserted...ignorance plays in, truth is averted..." There was no one else around, so he didn't have to bother with keeping his voice down. He could enjoy himself and sing as loud as he pleased, and that he did, getting so absored in his writing and singing, that he didn't notice someone else finally join him outdoors.
