jake is your average teenager wizard. he weighs one-hundred and twenty-three pounds, but is not as scrawny as he sounds. Yes, he's thing, but he is pretty strong. He's pretty short though. He's five feet five inches tall, which he finds very very short. He could have swore that he was part house-elf! He hates his height, and was once caught wearing his mother's heels when he was just a little boy. He has blackish, but dark brown hair. It's shaggy, combed down into a skater type of style that suits him well. He has pale skin, that can look almost albino in the right light. He's tried to get tanner before, but each time he's gotten a very bad sunburn.
he's baby blue eyes have been said to be charming, along with his assuring voice, but he's not one to show off and be a total flirt. he usually wears his pair of reading glasses, but he likes them. he finds them to make him look better, so he sometimes wears them even when he's not reading. he doesn't have a very impressive wardrobe, but he's pretty good with making sure his clothes look nice. he can even pull off his least favorite colors, which happen to be yellow and black: hufflepuff's house colors. he likes the irony of it though.

On April 21, 2007, in Godric's Hollow, a baby was born from Katie Wood, father to Oliver Wood. His name was Jake Micheal Wood. Jake grew up in Godric's Hollow, as the Wood family thought it would be good for their family. He already had three other siblings, all who were gifted at Quidditch. His first broom was bought when he was five. A Comet 100. He loved it, even if all of his other siblings had more expensive and better brooms. His mother, Katie, had been the Gryffindor Chaser, and a good one at that. Oliver used to be a talented Gryffindor Keeper and Captain. He had worked with Harry Potter! Jake didn't fantasize over it, but it was quite a conversation starter at family reunions. Jake sped around with his siblings, dad, and mom. He was set as beater, his siblings went where they wanted, his mother was a chaser, and his father was the keeper. They had much fun playing and practicing together.
Jake soon hit eleven years old, and he was sent off to Hogwarts. His two oldest siblings had been put in Gryffindor, which made him want to be put into the house. But his other silbing had been put into Ravenclaw. Where would he go? Ravenclaw or Gryffindor? He was surprsingly put into Hufflepuff. His parents weren't very proud, but they tried to encourage him. He felt very left out, not going to the same common room with his siblings. Going against his siblings at Quidditch. Could he even do that? He had too, because if he was going to get on the team, them he would have to verse them at some point. He looked on the bright side, and tried to impress his parents ever since. He wasn't in Slytherin, thank goodness. He couldn't stand going to their dungeon. He much preferred the burrow-like common room.
He went through his first year, second year, and third year with ease. But his fourth year was the hardest, as he was finally feeling the pressure of his parents. They were proud of him and all, but they wanted him to succeed more in Quidditch. They were both athletic, and Jake had been blessed with athletic skills, but he didn't want to be either a Chaser or Keeper. Those were both a little stretch for him, and he would choose otherwise. His father was slightly disappointed that he wasn't the captain, but he was only a fifth year, at that point, and he couldn't have been. But his siblings were so good, his self-esteem had a major drop. But he gradually gained it, as he went into a happy mood. He decided to look on the bright side of bad things, no matter how horrible they were. Now it's his fifth year, and he's ready for any pressures and stress that might want to creep into his life.
