despite the fact scorpius picked on her a bit - perhaps that was an understatement - lily's feelings remained intact and unwavering. she excused it as he didn't mean what he was saying. it was probably just a front. either that or he didn't actually know her so he couldn't mean what he said. he was just saying whatever typical boys at hogwarts said. besides, he was so beautiful inside and out. she couldn't help but be amazed at how scorpius had turned out physically though. her father had always talked about how thin and sickly looking draco was. scorpius was definately the opposite to his father. so huge, muscular... so many muscles... lily's thoughts began to wander, finding herself blushing despite her lost state, and it was only when a book was slammed infront of her that she snapped out of it. glancing up, taking her chin out of her hand, her elbow propped on the desk she saw one of her professors stood infront of her. actually, it was the head of gryffindor. lily quickly stood up, straightening out her clothes and hair to make sure she looked presentable before looking back up at the professor. she listened as it was explained to her a gryffindor first year student had gone for a wander outside and could no longer be seen. it was when the professor mentioned that scorpius would be occumpanying her as more of a bodyguard that her face lit up. she couldn't help it.
"i'll find the student miss. i promise. we'll be back in no time."
once the professor told her scorpius would be meeting outside the front door lily was off. she shot out of the library, her books and quil in hand, as she bolted to the gryffindor common room. she then made her way to her bed, placing her books, quil, and parchement in her trunk. this was her chance. she couldn't quite believe her luck. she finally got alone time with scorpius. what more could a girl want?! well, lily anyway. sure, she had heard all the rumours and seen him in action but she liked to think there was a huge heart behind all that fierceness. like a bear. he did look a lot like a bear... once again she had to snap her thoughts out of thoughts of scorpius and focus on what she was supposed to be doing. her homework could wait until later. she didn't care if she had to work through the entire night and have no sleep. to spend time with scorpius, alone, was well worth it. it was a dream come true for the fifteen year old.
smiling brightly, she checked her appearance in the small mirror she had. she looked presentable. no dirt. everything was in place. so with a smile she darted through hogwarts once again. she felt like a kid on a twenty four hours worth of sugar rush. she couldn't contain herself. before she knew it she was outside the front door. it was quite a beautiful night actually. the sky was clear, the stars were out, and there was a beautiful half moon glowing above. a romantic setting. there was even a light breeze accompanying the warm temperature. she really was getting lucky tonight. pulling her cloak around her closer she admired the beautiful grounds around them. she loved being here. it felt like a home away from home besides all the other people. they intimidated and scared her. fortunately she had yet to be physically beaten up. lily expected that to happen though any time soon. she was pretty much a sitting duck.
lily then thought she saw a student, perhaps the first year, heading into the forbidden forest. that was odd. perhaps a stupid dare? some people could be so easily pushed into bad things. lily was proof of that although it had yet to happen. her attention however was diverted as she heard a sound. turning her head it was then she saw scorpius in all his glory. so dreamy... lily couldn't help but just stare at him, lost in awe, wonderment, and thought - thoughts all of him. he had to be male perfection. it was some while before lily yet again had to force herself to snap out of her trance once more. blushing, she glanced at her feet, rubbing her right arm with her left hand. she knew she could never be his dream girl. she didn't have the self confidence for that. however, she'd settle for just being his girl. she didn't mind if she would end up having to work ten times harder for that. it would all be worth it.
"um, i think i saw the s-student heading into the f-forbidden forest..."

you heard that i was trouble , BUT YOU COULDN'T RESISTJ U S T T A K E A B I T E L E T M E S H A K E U P Y O U R W O R L D- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Scorpius had always been the conceited asshole people expected him to be. It made perfect sense, considering that was the reputation his father had been given at a minor age. But, seeing as Scorpius continued to strut around like an all-to-proud peacock, he didn’t seem to mind what people thought of him. He couldn’t blame them for their opinions; arrogance flowed through his veins like blood. And his manwhore tactics had quickly developed into something that people were familiar with. Women and sex were the key to Scorpius’ happiness, and Scorpius was keen towards being content. Scorpius had proudly gained the reputation he had been expected to have since birth. The egotistical Slytherin was a jerk, loved to move from woman to woman and was loved and hated by many. But along with the hate came respect, not to mention admiration, and Scorpius lived to be in awe of. His father and mother had brought him up well; at least, he thought so. He had been given the best, was taught class and malice, but unfortunately hadn’t been taught on how to deal with not getting his way.
Like, for instance, now. He should have been finding a girl to entertain him for a few hours and then finishing the night of with Sophia, but that clearly wasn’t an option now. Not when he had to assist in finding some idiot of a kid who had decided to wander off into the forest. It was perturbing when the prefects were given stupid tasks like this, and it bothered him even more to know that he was wasting his night on an immature student who thought it would be cool to follow through on a dare. However, it had lifted his moods slightly when the head of Slytherin house informed Scorpius that Lily Potter would be accompanying him on the search. He enjoyed irritating her, and if he wasn’t taking his anger out on Sophia, the next candidate was Lily. And his teasing wasn’t just a few good-hearted jokes that one could simply brush off; they were cruel, and Scorpius made sure tf hit them. And if it didn’t, he continued until he succeeded. Whether it was towards Lily, Sophia or a random peer who he could care less for, his unhappiness didn’t fade until he had offended whoever he was aiming for.
Scorpius stared at his shirtless reflection through his dorm room mirror. Smirking haughtily, he knew he was the definition of perfection. He loved himself too much, which had been the case from a young age. Slipping on a light sweater and a pair of jeans, he tried to dress quickly – the quicker he got to the forest, the quicker he would find the kid, and the quicker he would be able to find some meaningless girl to fuck. Sauntering out of his dorm room with his wand in his pocket, the Slytherin quickly exited the castle and headed outside, towards the grounds. Pacing towards the edge of the forbidden forest, the first thing that caught his grey eyes, despite the fact that night had already fallen, was a head of red hair. Sighing, it continued to dawn on him that this was a waste of his time. Considering he had no choice in the matter, he quickly decided that he might as well make the most out of his night.
“Hey carrot-top.” He began, continuing to walk towards her with a devilish smile while ignoring her first statement and not even noticing the infatuation in her eyes. “It’s been such a long time since we’ve spoken.” He fake pouted, as if the thought was saddening. “How’s your family? Is mum still getting her clothing from those boxes marked ‘donate to the poor’? And what about your dad? And your grandparents?... Oh, wait, James and Lily are dead.” It was clear that the young Malfoy was his usual self, insensitive, whilst he spoke to Lily about her grandparents. His cold smile grew at his last comment and his grey eyes flickered with amusement. But soon, the same amusement began to fade as he remembered the reason he was here in the first place.
“So, you saw the wanker who went into the forest? What did he look like?” He raised an eyebrow in question, his intonation flat and emotionless. His eyes roamed in search of a pathway into the forest and Scorpius paced towards it, assuming that Lily was following. Spotting one, he began to make his way into the forest. From a young age, Scorpius had been taught how to be a gentleman towards women, not that he usually was one, and one of the basic points were to allow her to enter a place before you did. Still, he entered the forest and continued to walk ahead of her. “I’d say lady’s first, buy you’re hardly a lady.” He turned his head around momentarily to look at her while he spoke, and the usual pompous smirk slowly began to play at his lips.

lily didn't like what scorpius called her by. it was really mean, but she decided like every other time to ignore it. her father had always fought back to draco's insults, and draco had never stopped. besides that, lily was a peaceful girl. she couldn't even try to fight back even if she wanted to. that, and he had just said it had been a long time since they had spoken, implying he had missed her. perhaps he didn't mean it now, but he would one day in her opinion, and so, those few words did mean a lot to her. at least it was a break between insults. besides, to be so smitten with scorpius lily did tend to take his words in the sweetest way they could be taken. for example, carrot-top became an affectionate pet name, and when scorpius had mentioned it had been a long time since they had spoken he had meant it in her ears as if he really had missed talking to her. she was sure one day she wouldn't have to pretend, but until then she was willing to overlook anything. after all, he had never been violent. never.
"my family is good. i still miss my brothers. i wish they weren't so into girls. we used to spend so much more time together then this. my mum likes to knit clothes, it keeps her calm, but we do get to go to awesome markets and find cute clothes there. my dad is good too thankyou. i can't wait to go back home and get to feel him tuck me in at night. i assume my grandparents are good since they're in heaven. i bet its really pretty up there."
lily knew how hurtful his words were meant to be, but she decided to answer it as if they were having a real friendly conversation. why not? it wasn't as if he was saying nice words, and so she decided to take in every word as if it was said nicely. one day he would say them that way without her having to pretend, so out of respect for their future relationship that she whole heartedly believed in she decided she would never rise to his insults. he would be sorry, genuinely, in time. she just had to wait. fortunately, lily was very good at waiting. especially when it came to something her heart desired. the only other thing her heart had ever desired besides scorpius was a dragon, and she still hadn't gotten her dragon egg. however, lily knew one day she would have one, just like one day she and scorpius would end up together, so she just waited patiently. her ears however went red ( they were fortunately under her flame red hair ) as scorpius said the 'w' word. he really shouldn't use such bad language. on the plus side though, he was asking her a genuine question. the night was already looking up.
"i only s-saw his back in the shadows. he didn't look too old, but then again it might not be a boy."
then scorpius was off, not even warning lily or gesturing for her to lead. not that she was a good leader anyway, so maybe he was doing what was best for her. he was such a sweetheart. still, she did wish he would walk slower. he was so much taller then her. every stride of his was quite a few of hers. she couldn't quite keep up. at least not at a walk. she would have to run, and in the forbidden forest she knew it would be very unwise to run so she stayed walking at a fast pace. she didn't want to loose scorpius, in any way. when he mentioned ladies first, lily once again responded as if he had meant it in a nice way.
"no, its okay. your just looking out for me. i'm not a good leader anyway, and your so tall. you'll be able to find the student quicker, especially as the leader."
'i like it when your looking out for me.' lily added in thought. the second he turned his head to look at her she couldn't help but smile back, her pretty face all lit up as if nothing was bothering her. she wasn't sure her father would be proud of her course of action, but she liked to think he would be. lily couldn't help but be excited she was not only spending time with scorpius but that he was also not only talking to her but looking at her too. it was almost like scorpius was giving her all her previous birthday presents at once. she noticed scorpius looked really good in denim jeans. lily had never missed one of scorpius' birthdays or any other special occassion that warranted a present. of course she knew better then to sign her name for the presents, but it always made her feel good when he either used them or wore them. she liked to think deep down he knew it was from her and telling her by using them that he couldn't wait for their future relationship either.
a part of her hoped, despite how mean it was, that they never found the student - at least for a few hours anyway. they could have a picnic. that would be so romantic. hearing the snap of a branch lily was forced out of her thoughts and soon looked around, slightly scared. the forest was forbidden for a reason. bad scary things were in here, even if voldemort wasn't any more. like really big spiders. she really didn't want to investigate what the sound was or where it was coming from - unlike her father - so she ended up pointing in the opposite direction.
"i, uh, thought i saw the student go that way..."
yes, away from the big scary noise and hopefully spiders. she really didn't like spiders. a lot like her uncle ron. still, she was sure scorpius would protect her. he wasn't heartless, and considering he had never hurt her physically or even tried to she believed he would protect her if it came down to it. maybe they should go to the spiders, he could protect her then, she could say 'my hero' - ignoring the fact she was clinging to him scared - and they could have that classic romantic moment. lily never thought anything would happen to them for a while, but if it did happen tonight... well, it would be the best night of her life. the possibility was so exciting that it brought a little bit of a bounce to her step despite the fast walking she was doing so she wouldn't loose sight of scorpius. she liked to think he was so big, like a teddy bear, so he could protect her. after all, she was a girl to the core - at least now, she had been a tomboy at a younger age, well, before she grew smitten with scorpius - and in their future relationship he'd get to be the macho man role, the dominant one, which he would easily fit into. she didn't mind the way he was with other women. lily just kept telling herself he had to get it out of his system, and besides, he was sort of practicing so he could be skilled with her later on. she had to put a positive spin on everything scorpius did, but she didn't mind. she was sure there was good in him somewhere. she just had to save him, and her way of doing that was to show nothing but kindness to him.
"um, how are you? how is your family? i hope they're well. i've never seen your parents... at least, apart from the usual school year book. i bet they're so beautiful. i bet they're really proud of you too. your really skilled with spells and such. you fight really well. a natural, like my dad, and i'm sure like your father was, but i don't know. i've never seen your dad before, so i can't judge on that. i bet you could make your own spells, new ones, really easily."
she rambled, although she did mean every word. lily made sure not to say anything that could be taken badly. she just wanted him to like her. was that so bad? her parents always told her she was pretty, kind, and had a huge heart as well as that any guy would be lucky to be with her. so lily was sure that scorpius was only mean to her because it was expected of him. well, lily refused to do what was expected of her when it came to the malfoys or anyone else. she refused to judge anyone from their parents or their own previous actions she had never seen. lily would only judge on what she had seen, and sure, scorpius had only been mean so far as far as she had seen, but there was just a look in his eyes he had sometime that she was sure told her there was good inside him. lily was also sure there had been good inside draco too. no one had bothered to try to save him though. well, lily wouldn't let scorpius be unsaved. she would save him. honestly, she'd risk her life for him.

you heard that i was trouble , BUT YOU COULDN'T RESISTJ U S T T A K E A B I T E L E T M E S H A K E U P Y O U R W O R L D- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - It had occurred to Scorpius a while ago that, while having a few similarities to his father, they were rather different. For one thing, Scorpius was stronger willed than Draco, and Draco had always insulted those from afar but wasn’t capable of defending himself. Scorpius also had goals, which his father clearly had no knowledge of. Scorpius, for example, wouldn’t have hesitated to kill Albus Dumbledoor like Draco had, and Scorpius insulted everyone he disliked while being able to defend himself with words, magic, and strength. Still, Scorpius didn’t mind the comparison, but he knew they had very little in common. Most would say they looked nothing alike, as well – Scorpius had seen pictures of him from a child, and he had been the spitting image of his father. However, he had ended up turning out to look more like his mother, but some of Draco’s traits couldn’t be denied. Their grey eyes and the devious smirk that usually possessed Scorpius’ lips had been inherited from his father. Looking at Lily for a moment, he realized she was a younger version of Ginny Weasley, or rather close. The Slytherin had seen pictures of Astoria’s graduating class, and Ginny Weasley had been one of the students. Shrugging the thought off, he decided that the resemblance held no importance. It was simply a fact.
Raising an eyebrow at Lily’s response, it really did piss him off that she had responded so calmly. Having people react dramatically to his insults were like his fuel; that was what kept him going. He would have usually not cared and would have just tried again, but this was the normal reaction he got from her. It was like she was untouchable, and the wall she put up wasn’t falling down. However, Scorpius breathed in fortitude like oxygen and would continue to keep making jabs at her until the barrier was torn down.
“What do you want your brothers to be into? Guys?... And they probably don’t spend as much time with you because they find you extremely annoying.”
[/b] He growled back, beginning to reply back to her as he unclenched his fists. Taking a breath, he regained himself quicker than he had expected. “And I didn’t realize your mother liked to knit. How did she manage to afford the yarn and knitting needles?” [/b] He asked, sarcasm clinging onto his every word. Finally, he turned his head to look at her. Arching an eyebrow, he smirked malevolently. “And what makes you think your grandparents are in Heaven? Because I had assumed that they would be in Hell, like where the rest of your family will end up.” [/b] He raised his eyebrows challengingly, hoping that his words had stung the way a hundred beestings would. It was a jackass thing to do, but Scorpius fed off of other’s weaknesses and insecurities. From a young age, Scorpius had been taught to dislike the Potter’s. Not only had Harry Potter and Scorpius’ father been enemies in school, but their beliefs were completely the opposite. The Malfoy’s had been proud supporters of the death eaters, and if they were to rise again, their family would have been responsible. And Scorpius would have been behind his family and their tactics 100%. The world would be a better place if there were only purebloods, and if the death eaters ruled, there would be discipline and structure. And then there were people like the Potter’s, who believed the exact opposite. Which was why Scorpius didn’t like Lily – it was nothing personal, simply family history. Even when his friends had made a bet last year – whoever was capable of getting Lily in bed would win – Scorpius had laughed at the amusing idea, but refused (not that anyone had been successful). His motto had always been seduce and destroy, but he had been raised to think differently when it came to this particular Gryffindor and the rest of her family. Scorpius ignored her next comment seeing as it really wasn’t much of a help. Stopping in the forest for a moment, he took a second to take in his surroundings. It was pitch black, and the only light that brightened their search was the light coming from the sky and his wand. The sky appeared like a black sheet of velvet with fireflies caught in the seams, and the smell of wood and animals was all that he could take in. Trying to listen for anything that sounded remotely human, Scorpius sighed when he realized that there was just the faint sound of the forest animals and the wind. And the only thing that managed to catch his attention next was the comment Lily made about him being a good leader. It was not only random, but strange; he had been insulting her throughout their whole time here, and she was complimenting him. “Why are you complimenting me?” [/b] He questioned, his voice slightly demanding as he turned to face her. He hoped that she understood why he was asking this; she had no reason to compliment him considering he had spent his time trying to offend her. Nodding his head idly at her statement on the direction the student went, Scorpius decided to take her word for it. After all, she was acting like Jesus, angelically and peacefully annoying, so why would she lie about the student’s whereabouts? Going in the direction she had suggested, he smiled mischievously as she asked him how he was doing. “I’m actually not doing very well – I should be in my bed, fucking two girls at a time, but I’m stuck with you instead, searching for some twat. And there’s a reason you haven’t seen my family. My family doesn’t associate with people like you.” [/b] He smirked maliciously, continuing to pace deeper into the forest. However, he stopped in his tracks once he heard her comparing him to her father. “I’m nothing like your father.” [/b] He spat, disgust lingering in his voice and facial expression as his grey eyes narrowed into a daggered glare. Although, the disgust quickly faded when he heard a distant howl from deeper within the forest. Staring up at the sky, Scorpius tried to breathe steadily when he realized that it was a full moon. Was the school staff mental? Had they not noticed that the moon was full and that two students were intentionally being sent into an area with werewolves? Gripping his wand and quickly pulling it out on instinct, he once again heard the howl, except louder and, an inference that he had drawn, thus closer. Turning to face her, he wanted to make sure he wasn’t going mad. “You heard that, right?” [/b] He asked, concealing any sign of fear and forcing himself to remain tranquil. "My brothers are happy, and they are interested in girls. However, I just wish I could spend more time with them. I miss them, and we're so close. We're like best friends. I'm sorry you don't have a sibling to know that bond with."
Lily responded softly. He didn't mean that she was annoying. He never meant a word he said, and she kept telling herself in the future he would apologise for his maltreatment of her. It wasn't all bad though. Lily had known about the bet. It wasn't hard to find out. Especially when she was around the corner when Scorpius' friends had made the bet. She was dishearted and found it sweet Scorpius had decided not to par take in it. Of course she would have not let him get his leg over, but the time they could have spent together... Positive time... Well, she would have liked that. Still, in a way, by saying no he was protecting her honor, and in return she remained faithful to him. Then again, Lily would have remained faithful to him anyway. It wasn't hard to turn the guys down. Even if they had been genuine none of them were right for her. None of them sparked the passion Scorpius did. Just because he couldn't see it yet didn't mean it didn't exsist.
"She makes the yarn herself, and well, she always has knitting needles. Ginny is a lot like grandma. She loves to do things with her hands. Nuture the earth, and of course provide us with thick jumpers in the winter. I love it."
Lily responded, a bright smile on her face. He had actually asked her another question without insulting words. She treasured these small moments. It almost hurt when he mentioned James and Lily being in hell but Lily didn't show it. There was a line where Lily would act venomously, but so far Scorpius had never crossed it. She liked to think he knew where it was and didn't cross it out of respect ( and affection ) to her. She appreciated that. So, she responded again as lightly as she possibly could.
"I don't believe there is a hell. I believe the bad souls just disintergrate into the atmosphere, not allowed to move on and so forced to become just the air, whilst the good souls like James, Lily, and one day - hopefully ages away from now - you and your family go to heaven."
Lily was relieved when Scorpius finally stopped. It gave her enough time to finally catch him and stand beside him. Whilst he looked around she took the opportunity to stare up at him with awe. One day. One day it would all be different. One day she would feel him make love to her passionately. A blush rose on her cheeks and she quickly glanced down at her feet, anxious he would look at her again. Then he asked her why she was complimenting her. The first answer that came to mind was 'because i like you', but she knew that it could be taken as if she said 'i have a mega crush on you'. It wouldn't be the best response in the world, and yet what else could she say?
"Because deep down your a good man. I'm sorry no one tried to see it in your father when he was our age, but I'm not my parents. I'm different. I see good in you, you just need a chance to let it out. I believe in you."
Lily responded softly, watching his face nervously. She meant every word though. She did have complete faith in him. When Scorpius spoke next only one thing bothered her about his words - he had mentioned touching two other women, not her, at the same time. Sometimes when it came to him boasting about his sexual activities it really hurt her heart. A sound much like the sound Miss Piggy would make when she was upset rumbled in Lily's throat as she looked away. I will not cry. He doesn't mean it. I will not cry. He doesn't mean it. Then before she knew it he was tense, and a howl was heard. A werewolf. Then she got an idea. She would save him! That was a perfect idea. People fell for their heros all the time. She would just save him from the werewolf, and he would no longer be mean. Sure, she had never ever used her magic on another living creature but how hard could it be? Besides, it was for Scorpius. He was worth it. She'd risk her life over and over again for him.
"Don't worry, I'll get it."
She piped up, and before anything could be said or done she skipped into the darkness. Okay, so, from Aunt Hermonie's stories she knew how to lure a werewolf to her. She had no idea what to do with it after that. She couldn't kill it. It was just a poor innocent creature. What else could she do? She supposed she could lure it to the big mean spiders, but they would kill it, and she felt a tightening in her gut just thinking about that. Maybe she would just try to get through to it? It couldn't be that hard to do. There had to be some humanity left in it. So, forcing herself to keep her bright outlook on things she skipped directly to the werewolf. It seemed like no time at all before they were face to face with each other. Lily had only one thought in mind - keep the big werewolf away from Scorpius. Still, it was awfully big. She offered the werewolf a smile, nervous, even as it snarled fiercely at her. Maybe a werewolf was a lot like a wolf? Ooo, she watched animal documentaries all the time. They were so interesting.
Lily slowly lowered herself to the ground, showing submission to the large werewolf and made a sound that could be taken as a whimper. There was always a dominant wolf, or dog, and then the rest in the pack were submissive to them. So Lily was trying submission. It must be working since so far he hadn't yet tried to attack her. She supposed no one had ever tried this kind of thing on them. Then again with something chasing you to kill you she supposed it wasn't something anyone thought of. Deciding it was relatively safe she slowly crawled towards the werewolf, making sure her stomach touched the ground as she kept low and continued to make whimpering sounds. She really didn't want to set it off. She was doing fine actually, that is until she got close enough to touch him. Then before she knew it one of his claws were around her neck, she was in mid-air and being pinned to a tree as the werewolf snarled at her. Clearly he was hungry. If only she had brought some of roast meats she had brought along.
"Please please please don't eat me. I really want to impress this boy. It would mean so so much to me if you could just let me go and move on. I promise if you do so I'll come back with lots and lots of meat for you to eat. My word is binding. I'd never go on back on it. I'm Lily, Lily Potter. Maybe you heard of my father Harry? We're good people. Honest, kind, and true..."
It was at that point she felt the claw press harder against her throat. Her eyes closed and before she knew it she had drifted off into unconciousness. By the time she woke up she was on the ground, unharmed except for bruising around her neck and the werewolf was gone. Honestly, she was extremely surprised. Who knew she could actually do it. She had never been able to do anything like that. Sure, she hadn't fought per say, but she had gotten a werewolf to go away. Then she remembered Scorpius and quickly clamered up onto her feet. He would be so impressed, she just knew it. Maybe her father wasn't the only Potter that could get lucky. Faster then her legs could carry her she sprinted through the darkness, not entirely sure where she was going, but fortunately she ended up running into Scorpius. Without even thinking she wrapped her arms around his waist ( mostly because she couldn't reach any higher ) and hugged him. She was just so happy. Pulling away she smiled brightly up at him.
"No worries. The werewolf is gone. I got rid of him all by myself."
Of course Lily had no idea what actually happened. Maybe the werewolf had heard one of its pack and left? It was possible. She knew it was unlikely anything she had said had made the werewolf go away but even so, she was alive, the werewolf was gone so technically it wasn't a lie to say she had done it all by herself. After all she had no idea what had happened.
"Your safe now."
She couldn't wait to hear him finally praise her. She was sure he would now. She had just saved him. She wasn't sure how, but she had. Lily had been fearless though. She had never been scared. Sure, she didn't want to get eaten or hurt but her drive to impress Scorpius and save him was so strong that she just refused to feel fear. She tried so hard never to get angry at any of Scorpius words because then she would just be like any other girl he hung around. Lily desperately wanted to be different and stand out to him so that when the time came he did want to settle down there would be only one choice in his mind. Some times were harder then others to stay calm and happy but Lily always made herself think of all the good times they would have in the future and so calm herself down.

you heard that i was trouble , BUT YOU COULDN'T RESISTJ U S T T A K E A B I T E L E T M E S H A K E U P Y O U R W O R L D- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The redhead in front of him was truly causing Scoprius to grow perplexed. Every time he threw a rock at her, it just bounced off her armor. It baffled him as to how she remained untouched, with a happy response to his every comment. Her cheerfulness was annoying, and Scorpius seized to understand why the hell she was so fucking happy. She were in the middle of a deathly forest, looking for a dumbass who thought it would be cool to get lost, and all he was doing was being mean to her. And yet, a smile still remained on her lips. Rolling his eyes as she went on about her mother’s knitting, Scorpius clenched his fists as he continued to pace. “I honestly don’t give a fuck about your mother knitting you sweaters because your family can’t afford to buy them.”
[/b] He growled, his grey eyes still roaming his surroundings in search of the lost student. Hearing her talk about souls disintegrating and the other nonsense just added onto his confusion. Was there not a statement that could be made that would make her angry? He had hoped to see her face grow as red as her hair, for her to be filled with anger and sadness and for her to hate him as much as he thought he hated her. But that clearly wasn’t happening. “That’s so inspiring.” [/b] He began, his words once again dripping with sarcasm. “Why don’t you just become a nun?” [/b] He questioned, smiling at her with disdain. Scorpius thought back to the bet that he hadn’t agreed to with his friends. It wasn’t only the family feud, but Scorpius couldn’t see her as attractive when she dressed so saintly. Sure, she was pretty, – not that he would admit it – but there was more to it. Everyone knew Scorpius was wooed by those in short skirts and tight shirts. She would have had to transform from Anne of Green Gables to Cintia Dicker, and he didn’t see that happening anytime soon. He wasn’t capable of seeing beauty like Lily’s, and had mostly been exposed to cheap, one night stands. But those thoughts were quickly interrupted when she began to explain why she was being so nice to him. The Slytherin had never been left speechless before, but there was a first for everything. And, as true as her words might have been, he wasn’t speechless because of that. He was speechless because her words were strange. Perhaps this girl was like Sophia and was blind towards his sins. Because he honestly could not see how she saw good in him. “You. Are so. Weird.” [/b] Was all that Scorpius could manage to say. After hearing the howl and asking her if she had heard it, he was surprised to see a bright smile still plastered upon her face. She looked like she had just come up with something brilliant, but he doubted the idea would appeal to him. Raising an eyebrow in question, he didn’t even have time to ask her why she was smiling. “Don’t worry, I’ll get it.” Was all she said in her cheerful tone of voice before she ran away in the opposite direction. “Get what?” [/b] He asked, but not in time. Lily had already left. Sighing deeply, he paced over to the nearest tree and leaned against it for support. He was sleepy, and he didn’t have a clue as to what Lily was talking about. Nor did he care; he would just search for the lost kid until she skipped back to him. Leaving the tree, he began to walk around the forest and after a few minutes, he was surprised to see a younger Slytherin boy sitting underneath a tall tree. He looked frightened and had yet to notice Scorpius was even there. “Why the hell would you come into the forest, especially at night? Were you trying to be cool, because that obviously didn’t work out well you dumbfuck. I just wasted two hours looking for your ass!” [/b] He yelled, his face slightly red as the child jumped in surprise. “Get up! Were going back to the castle.” [/b] He finished, realizing that they couldn’t seeing as Lily had yet to come back. Explaining to the kid why they couldn’t leave in as few words as possible, he waited for Lily in silence between him and the younger student. Ten minutes quickly passed, and Scorpius was beginning to wonder whether he should have gone and searched for her. And then he heard a scream. Straightening up, he immediately become more alert of his surroundings and headed for the direction he had heard her. Running deeper into the forest and in search of Lily, he reached into his pocket and grabbed a hold of his wand. Finally, after a few minutes, he spotted her against a tree with a wolf’s claw pressed firmly upon her throat. It took him a second to realize what was happening, and the wolf had already realized that Scorpius was present. Its attention was refocused on Scorpius and it removed its paw from her neck. As Lily fell to the ground, while the creature ran to pounce on him, Scorpius lifted his wand and pointed it at the wolf. “Petrificus Totalus” [/b] He yelled, watching the animal freeze and fall the ground. Turning towards the younger Slytherin boy, who had thankfully followed Scorpius, he watched as the petrified child’s knees buckled and he fell to the ground in shock. The kid wasn’t unconscious, just surprised. Turning back to Lily, Scorpius quickly made his way over to the unconscious girl. Her body was filled with long cuts and scrapes, none thankfully not running to deep. However, as he took her in his arms, he realized that blood had begun to dirty his hands and clothes. But, obviously, that held no concern to him at the moment. He was too caught up with the fact that she, and potentially him, had almost been bitten or even have died from a werewolf attack. “Tergeo.” [/b] He muttered, pointing his wand at a cut on her neck. He did that multiple times, pointing at all the scrapes he could detect, whether it was on her arms or face. Finally, after she was somewhat healed, he turned to the younger boy and glared at him violently. “Watch her and make sure she doesn’t get hurt. I’ll be back in a few minutes.” [/b] He barked, the child quickly getting up and making his way over to Lily. Scorpius began to walk in the other direction, searching for an adult who had almost been looking for the lost kid. Sending sparks out into the sky with his wand, he assumed that the professors would take that as a cry for help. Suddenly, he felt a pair of arms wrap around his waist. Looking down, he saw that Lily had managed to wake up and despite her current condition and was still smiling brightly. He sighed with relief that she was alright, but he was unsure how to react; he couldn’t push her away considering she had just almost died, and he couldn’t hug her because that would be out of his character. So, awkwardly, he patted her back gently and his being unsure was clear due to the expression on his face. But, after she had spoken, his expression transformed to confusion. “What are you talking about? You almost got killed! What the fuck were you thinking? Why would you run after the wolf?” [/b] His words came out quickly, a slight bit of anger attached to them. “You need to go to the hospital wing.” [/b] He finished, stating the obvious after taking a deep breath in attempt to calm himself. "Because I'm in love."
Lily had responded to his question of why she didn't just become a nun. It had just slipped out of her mouth. She didn't mean to say it. She felt so scared after she had said it. At least she hadn't said she was in love with him. Lily was sure he wasn't ready to hear that yet. She could see Scorpius getting very fustrated but she knew he wouldn't physically hurt her. He was just like a dog trying to figure out what he should be doing. Like a problem. He would figure it out soon enough they were meant to be together. Lily hadn't realised though she was in love with Scorpius. She knew he was crushing on him majorally... but love. She hadn't thought she was there yet but clearly she was. She just wanted him to love her back. Was that so much to ask? A confession of love should be returned by another and a kiss. Yet, Lily knew it was unlikely that would happen here with her. Still, she was one hundred per cent positive they were meant to be together. She was his miss right, and he was her mr right. They were soulmates. Imprints. True love. No one else could ever be his true love because she was so sure she was it.
Despite the fact he was showing all his affection to that Sophia girl. God, seeing that broke her heart but she forced herself to bury that pain deep deep down. Sophia was just a passing thing. Scorpius didn't love her. He couldn't. Lily kept telling herself he could only love one woman in this world and that was her. It had to be. Lily would never want or love anyone else. If she and Scorpius didn't end up together then she would do as he suggested; become a nun, and die a complete virgin. She was saving herself for Scorpius and no one else. She would not let anyone else touch her in any way. Lily was sure he would like that she had saved every inch of herself for him. It would be a change from all the girls that he touched which she knew weren't untouched like her. One day he would save her life. One day he'd ask her on a date. One day he would say he loved her, and one day they would be married, together for as long as they both continued to breath. Lily would give him the world. She'd give him everything he could ever desire. She would make sure of that. All she lived for was to please him.
Hence why she went after the werewolf. She had wanted to impress him so badly. She wanted him to notice her. It was a shame though she was unconcious when Scorpius swept her into his arms. She would have been in heaven if she was concious. However she was in heaven when he patted her back. The very first time he had ever touched her. Lily thought she was going to pass out from so much happiness she got from that simple touch. This was the moment she was waiting for. He was going to praise her now, tell her how he was so impressed, cup her face and kiss her. Just like she had wanted to happen. Unfortunately, it didn't, and he started yelling at her. She didn't understand. He was supposed to be impressed right now. Ginny had been when Harry rescued her from the Baselisk. This wasn't what was supposed to happen. He looked so mad at her.
"I thought if I got rid of the werewolf for you that you would be impressed. I don't... I don't understand. Dad saved mum from that Baselisk and Tom Riddle and she... she loved him for it."
She really didn't understand, and was so confused she didn't realise what she was saying. Lily frowned, turning away from Scorpius as she paced up and down. She wished she knew what her grandmother, Lily, had done to win over James. They had been in the same situation as her. James had been a bully. He had even bullied Lily in the beginning but they ended up in love, married, and having a baby - her father. How on earth had Lily made James see her differently? Lily had no idea. She wished her grandmother could have lived to tell her such things. Then Lily wouldn't be so in the dark as she was now. Unfortunately Lily didn't have much time to think as before she knew it she heard footsteps. Teachers perhaps? She glanced over her shoulder noticing the student they had been looking for was with them too. What had happened when she was unconcious? What had happened to the werewolf? Had Scorpius saved her? And why did he say she needed to go to the hospital wing? There wasn't a scratch on her. No broken bones either from what she could feel. Frowning she looked over at Scorpius.
"Why did you say I need to go to the hospital wing? I'm not hurt... There isn't even a scratch on my body..."
What if he had saved her? Lily didn't want to get excited about that but it seemed like a real possibility. If he had saved her that meant he didn't want her dead which meant he had to care for her at the least. Who knows, maybe he was even falling for her already. It could already be happening - them becoming a couple. It was a shame she hadn't been awake to see Scorpius fend off the werewolf. However, it also explained why Scorpius was angry. He was protective of her. He had to be! People only got angry like that when they cared. At least from Lily's experiences anyway. Unable to help herself, Lily yet again ran at Scorpius and flung her arms around his waist. She wished she was tall enough to kiss him because she would have done if she could reach. Unfortunately there wasn't anything she could stand on to reach either so she would have to settle for hugging him right now. Besides, she told herself, it would mean a lot more if he initiated their first kiss. It would be so much more magical.
"Thankyou, for saving me. Your my hero."
Lily managed to say in a soft voice before a professor came. Hearing a cough behind them, Lily blushed, before turning around to face the professor. She rubbed her right hand along her left arm as she looked up at the professor who must have thought she and Scorpius were letting the hormones get the better of each other. I wish. Unfortunately that wasn't happening. Lily was sure though it would happen one day. Suddenly remembering the student Lily turned to point at him for the professor.
"Scorpius found him. He deserves all the credit, and any points that may or may not be awarded. He fought off a werewolf too which could have eaten me and the student. I don't deserve any credit. I ended up hiding inside a tree the whole time."
It wasn't exactly the truth but Lily wanted Scorpius to have the limelight. He was so special, and in her eyes he deserved it anyway. Besides that she knew right now he probably wouldn't want the school to know she had gone to fight the werewolf just to impress him. One day he wouldn't be embarassed to be seen with her, and would announce their love to the whole world. Lily knew that it probably wouldn't be tonight though, and she would have to wait.
